Chapter Eighteen

We were all officially graduated from high school.

Well, they graduated two months before I woke up, so I graduated late.

And the good news? We were all going to university.

Steve was studying architecture, Sam was studying Design, Damien went for art, while Jack went to a study music, and Rick got a scholarship for sport, he is a shark in water, Eva was studying fashion design, and I am studying Business Administration.

We decided to build a new bridge.

A bridge that can be a restart to both cities.

I got money as the heir of the Adamus family, but I need the knowledge to bake the family business flourish and get better, and my grandmother is so happy and proud.

Solomon is getting his family's business on its feet again after a hard work.

And guess what? Isaac got a girlfriend, she is Jack's baby sister, while Sam fell for Damien's sister, it was hilarious when we found the four of them in a double date by the theater when we went to hang out after we met in out first holidays.

Damien was acting cool, but Jack got so angry he decided to ruin their date, but guess what? He got beaten by Eva and almost got a broken leg, and that's when he decided to let it go.

We left in the middle of the movie...well, to tell the truth? We got chased out because Eva was beating the shit out of Rick that people got scared and called for security and we were put out of the theater in the middle of December.

We went then to a nice dinner place, where we found Vivian and Matt having a romantic dinner, so we decided to spy on them.

We passed invisible, until Eva, Rick and Sam got their fangirl moment when Matt proposed to Vivian and she accepted, they went like crazy clapping and whistling and Sam even cried from happiness and the other customers laughed at them and also shared the moment of happiness.

I didn't take Eva for the romantic type, but I was proved wrong.

We went to the couple and congratulated them, and left them have dessert peacefully after we paid for their dinner as a gift from us.

New year came with good news, the laws in both cities got changed thanks to Solomon and my grandma, so now, both cities are free from interdiction of going into each one.

And about what happened that day, Solomon was the one to jump me, and it was the same as what happened fifteen years ago, as Steve fell and my father saved him, but my father didn't make it, that's where Anna found him and Steve, she buried my father and took care of Steve, but apparently she didn't treated him that well, she always forced him to do things to be the best heir, and Steve had enough, that's why he worked part time jobs to gain some money, and decided to leave that day.

The day I woke up, when we got left alone, he confessed to me that he did all that to have his own life so that he can be independent and marry Sam.

I also discovered that he received two bullets that day and almost didn't make it, and it Anna shot her self when she thought she killed him.

And about my situation, I got severely damaged because I drowned and Solomon almost failed to find me, so due to the lack of oxygen in my head, I went into a coma, after my heart failed two times.

They told me that it was a miracle that I woke up.

Steve passed a month in the hospital and almost fully recovered before I woke up.

And I am glad that everyone are doing fine.

I was walking towards the crowd that gathered by the entrance of the bridge.
