Cold, empty, and numb.
That's how I was feeling, I heard muffled voices, a lot of different sounds, felt a lot of hands on me, and then, nothing.
I woke up to beeping, it was annoying, my body felt heavy, and I felt lightheaded.
I hummed in content, I tried to shift, but nothing happened, so I tried to open my eyes, and I was greeted with blur, closed my eyes tightly and reopened them.
Lights, and white, I was still disoriented but I spotted someone asleep by the feet of the bed.
I groaned as my head throbbed, and the person stirred in their sleep and lifted their head that was on the bed and looked at me.
-"Dear God! Dylan!" Steve rushed to me but almost fell on top of me as he stumbled because he just woke up.
-"Hi" I managed with my hurt throat.
He was wide eyed and frozen for a moment, but then, his eyes closed half as a genuine smile morphed into his face and his dimples showed, but he even so, the dark circles under his eyes were showing and he looked super exhausted.
-"How are you feeling?" He asked as he dragged his seat to my side and sits there to give me his full attention.
-"What happened?" I asked.
To tell the truth, I don't remember exactly what happened.
-"You were dying by the bridge" he said with a grim look.
-"I don't remember" I said honestly.
-"You were assaulted and stabbed, and we don't know yet who did it, we saw you by the bridge, but you seemed out of it, I tried to call you, but you collapsed, I took my car and came to get you, and I found you dying, so I brought you here after getting some help" he said and took my hand in his.
-"Tell me the truth Dylan, who did it? Are you in trouble?" He asked with sincere worry.
-"I don't remember...how did you get to me? And where am I exactly?" I asked in confusion.
-"I got arrested for trespassing, but got some help, and we are at my family's hospital, but your stay is secret, so don't worry, I tried to call your family, but I didn't get an answer from Isaac and the other number was busy all the time, and you don't have any other number aside from those two and mine" he said.
-"Well, no one cares enough" I said and sighed.
-"I'm gonna call someone, you don't look great, and you have been out for a week" he said as he walked out of the room.
WHAT? A WEEK!
I tried to remember what happened, but I got a huge headache instead and fell asleep.
The next time I woke up, it was night, and I wanted to go to the bathroom, so I helped myself out of the bed with the IV's holder, and tried to walk to the bathroom, I did my business quickly, freshened up and was returning to my bed when the world started spinning and the edge of my view was darkening, I heard someone talk, hands trying to grab me, but I fell on top of the person and we toppled on the ground, and I noticed before fainting that they were smaller than me.
I woke up to the felling of something warm and so smooth tracing my forehead, and I opened my eyes to be greeted by a wide blue-grey eyes, an angelic face, rosy cheeks on a pure white face and dark red lips, and it was her fingers by my forehead.
-"Hi" I croaked out and that seemed to snap her out of her frozen state.
-"Sorry! I mean Hi!" She stumbled over her words.
