Chapter 7: You Late?

Sean's POV

As I woke up, I realized Kai was still lying there. What do I do now? I don't want to wake her up, but I want to make her breakfast. Slowly, I move and get out of bed. 'Phew, that was a close one' I thought as I walked out of the room. When I walked into the living room, I saw Mark on the couch passed out. I looked over the couch to see a few empty bottles of beer on the other side. I shrug it off and get to breakfast. I started with the Bacon and pancakes and don't even notice that Mark is up.

"Good morning Jack!" Mark says as he approaches. He placed his hand on the side of his head, like something was hurting him. 

"Good morning," I say and then ask . "Are you ok? You look like you're in pain."

"I'm fine just a little headache from last night." He said, brushing it off. "Do you have any Advil?" He asked, looking in the Cabinets.

"There's some Advil in the Cabinet to your right." I said as I pointed to the cabinet. He thanks me and grabs two Advil pills, gulping them down. About 20 minutes later, I finished the breakfast and set the table. I don't want Kai to miss out on the breakfast and she probably has to get ready for the next game. I walk toward my room and open the door slightly to check in on her.

Kai POV

I wake up in a bed... wait where am I? Am I at my hotel room? No, I'm somewhere else? Ok, lets retrace my steps. I came to Sean's house, then we watched the Office, then Sean got pizza. Then I got here! I'm at Sean's! This is his guest room? It kinda looks like his... room.. Shit! Did I sleep in his bed?! Then I look at the door to see Sean standing in the door way.

"Hi Sean." I said as I sat up.

"Hi, did you sleep well?" Sean said as he made his way over to the bed. "Thanks for sleeping in my bed." He said sarcastically

"Oh Shit, this is your room! I'm so sorry! I thought this was the guest room! " I said surprised and scared that he would be mad. But... He wasn't... He was... blushing? "Where did you sleep?" I asked him. He probably slept in the guest room, right? I look at Sean and see that his face is even more red. Wait, I think I remember what happened. I was asleep and I heard a door open. I didn't want him to think that he woke me so I just laid there. He had made his way to the bed and laid down. I scooted right next to him. He was so tense, like he almost always is when he's around me. 

I snap out of it and look at Sean, he's still blushing, He just said "There's breakfast made in the dinning area." Then he walked away. I get up and head for the Dinning room. Everyone was at the table. Mark was already half way through his plate. Felix was being a gentleman and waiting until Sean and I got to the table. Once we got to the table we all chowed down.

When we were done, I forgot to check what time it was "Oh Shit..." I look at my phone, "Is it really 10?!"

Everyone nods, confused looks on their faces. I panickly say, "My next game is in 40 minutes!" 

Everyone rushes around the house to get ready to leave. When I walk out of Sean's room,  everyone is ready and we all head to the car. Once were all in the car Mark speeds down the road to the rink. Sean keeps telling me do great and he keeps complimenting me. Of course I blush. Then were here, I say goodbye and head to the locker room. I look at my phone seeing that I only have 10 minutes until we get on the ice.
