Youtubers and Kai

Chapter 5: The Game

As I walked into the rink I noticed how nice the rink was. It has pretty nice seats and some really good ice. I looked at the board that contains all the locker room numbers and teams. As I search for my team name, I hear someone run up behind me. The person taps me on the shoulder, I turn around to see Sean with some people in hoods behind him, he's actually wearing one too.

 "Hi Sean! nice to see you here...... who are these people?" I ask. 

Sean looks at me and says, "Lets go somewhere more isolated to talk."

I look at him weirdly, deciding to follow him. We go into this pretty isolated hallway, I look at Sean then look at the two hooded people as they take off their hoods to reveal their faces. One was Mark, like THE markiplier! The other was Felix, more well known as Pewdiepie! I freak out, "What the heck Sean!" I semi yell excitedly at Sean.

He seems startled, but he is interrupted with Mark stating "I've heard a lot about you K... Kai? that's how  you say it right?" He says as he looks confusedly at Felix. 

I take a glance at Sean and his face is as red as Rudolph's nose. Sean turns away and says "You should probably go get dressed.... I'll see you after ....Good luck." He says in an embarrassed voice. I hug everyone and run to my teams locker room. Before I walk in I look at my phone and see that I only have 10 minutes to get ready. "Shit!" I exclaim, running into the room, sitting in a spot right next to Kate. 

"Where have you been! Its been 30 minutes since we were all supposed to be here!" Kate semi yells at me. I don't have time to talk, I have to focus on getting ready.

10 minutes pass and I'm ready to destroy this team. We all chant our team cheer before we walk out. Then we go, I feel like we're so professional. Then I hear a very familiar voice scream, " GO KAI!!!" Shittt, It's Sean..... Dammit Sean. We do our warm-ups and then go to the bench for a talk from our coach. I'm out first with Kate on Defense.

BUZZZZ

The first period is over with a score of one-one. We go back to the locker room for a pep talk while the ice is being resurfaced. The coach had basically said that we had to do everything harder. skate harder, shoot harder, and pressure harder. Then the coach says lets go team! and we all file out of the room and get on the ice and do warm-ups. I get to sit first with Kate who is my partner. I look into the crowd to see a sign... What does it say? it says.... GO KAI! YOU GOT THIS!! I look down, I can't believe I didn't notice this in the first period.

BUZZZZZ

 The period is over and I look at the score board and see that the score is 3-2 us. We're winning! The Coach complements us for our work and then gives us some strategies. It's the third period, the last chance to win! We do our chant and go out on the ice. We do warm-ups and prepare ourselves for the period that was about to come. As we joined around the bench, Coach put me on....... CENTER!?! I don't deserve this! I thought that he made a mistake but it turns out it wasn't. 6 minutes into the period I got one of the best goals in my life. Basically, I had a break away and I juked the goalie and managed to slip it in, right into the goal! Everybody was so happy. I Looked in the stands and saw Sean bragging to Mark and Felix. I smiled and blushed a little, but quickly stopped. I didn't want to seem weird. The rest of the period went great we got two more goals with puts us at 6-2, but the other team got two goals which makes the final score 6-4 us. WE WON! There was a huge celebration at the end. After I got in my normal clothes, I ran to the waiting area with all my stuff. As I look around, I see Sean with Mark and Felix. Are they whispering? About me? I approach them and Mark taps Sean's shoulder and Sean turns around and hugs me.

"Hi! How are you? You did amazing!" Sean tells me and then grabs me by the shoulders into a bear hug, though quickly pulling apart, looking in my eyes. We stand there for a while, Mark breaking the silence by saying "Soooooo...." I look at Sean and I said "Are we going? We can talk about it in the car?" Sean nods his head, motioning for everyone to start walking. As we were walking, out Kate came up to me and started talking to me. She took a look at Sean, Mark, and Felix and paused for a minute. 

"Wait... Are these youtubers?" Kate asked me, a hint of excitement in her voice.

 I looked at her and put a finger over my mouth and said "Wait till we get outside please." She nodded. We walked outside and I explained the whole thing to her.
