Max and Ellie (Editing)

#8- I think I wanna...

I saw the shop that read Wedding chapel. Perfect. I stop Ellie and she looks at me confused.

Ellie: "What?"

Max: "Um... well... I was wondering, ya'know just for fun if... um... if-"

Ellie: "Come on, spill." I took a deep breath.

Max: "Let's get married!" I say with enthusiasm. She looks at me bewildered as I smile.

Max: "Come on! It will be fun! You can be my wifie!"

Ellie: "Wifie? You mean wife right?"

Max: "Nope! Let's go." I grab her hand and lead her over but she stops.

Ellie: "Wait. You may be 18 but I'm still 17 which means I need permission from my parent or guardian."

Max: "Okay, your not going to like this idea but, what if you called and asked your dad to agree to it?"

Ellie: "My stepdad won't agree Max. Neither will mom."

Max: "No like, your real dad."

Ellie: "As far as I'm concerned I only have a stepdad and a mom."

Her dad left her and her mom when she was 10 and her dad wanted to reconnect a year ago but Ellie won't talk to him.

Max: "But then we can't get married." I pout and she sighs.

Ellie: "Let's go in first." I perk up and we go inside.

The man greats us and tells us what to do. I sigh a bunch of papers while Ellie calls her dad. She makes him guilty and surprisingly gets him to allow her. The man told her dad how to give permission and he said it would take 30 minutes so we quickly went out
and I bought a tie and we got Ellie a veil to put on her head. We ran back to the wedding chapel giggling like little kids. The man got everything ready and said we had to have two witnesses. I ran out of the chapel and walked up to a older couple.

Max: "Hello ma'am and sir. Would you mind if I could take 5 minutes of your time to be witnesses for my wedding?" They agreed and I walked in with them.

I went to were I was supposed to be and took Ellie's hands in mine. The device was only 5 minutes and then the man said "You may now kiss the bride" and I suddenly got nervous. Like I was about to be married! I'm 18 and I'm getting married. I know I'm supposed to be the dare devil but this, wow. We both leaned in slowly and then kissed. I thought after 5 seconds she would pull away but she didn't so we stood there for 30 seconds kissing, and might I add she is a good kisser. The couple clapped and said congrats and then left. Ellie smiled at me and kissed my cheek. The gesture made me smile and we left shortly after. When we got to our hotel we got into our pjs but instead of wearing sweatpants like Ellie usually does she was wearing only underwear. I sat payed down and turned the light off.

Max: "Good night."

Ellie: "Good night." A minute later though I heard Ellie start talking again.

Ellie: "Remember when you gave me two favors and I used one. Well I want to use another one now if your okay with it."

Max: "Um sure. What is it?" I heard her hesitate but she continued.

Ellie: "Well, it's just. I um... I want do it before I die."

Max: "What?"

Ellie: "You know... do it. With another person that's in this room." It finally clicked in my head and I was really surprised.

Max: "Oh."

Ellie: "This is embarrassing. Can you just say yes or no?"

But instead of answering I got out of my bed and went onto Ellie's. I've only had sex twice so I'm not amazing but we'll see how this goes.

I took the covers off and put my hands on either side of Ellie's face as I kissed her, she kissed back and I couldn't help but smile.

And the rest of that night was history...

In the morning...

I woke up beside Ellie... with only boxers. Wow. Last night was intense. I smiled and looked at her. I slightly shook her and I saw her eyes flutter open slowly. She looked at me and smiled then stretched.

Max: "Good morning my wifie." She giggled.

Ellie: "Good morning to you to Max." I did a fake gasp.

Max: "Just Max?"

Ellie: "Yes." I gasped again and she got up and went to the bathroom with her clothes.

Max: "You can get dressed out here ya'know! I've seen you naked!"

Ellie: "Oh my gosh Max! No!" I chuckle and put on my clothes.

When we're all done packing and all that we head down stairs and get on our plane.

Max: "Wanna know where we're going?" She looks up and gave me an evil smile.

Ellie: "Yes yes yes! Please!"

Max: "Sounds like you last night." I smirk and then I receive a smack.

Max: "Ow."

Ellie: "You should've seen that coming." I hug her, well half hug her cuz we are buckled up. She half hugs me back.

She then looks up at me hopefully.

Ellie: "Where?"

Max: "Nothing too exciting, we're kinda having a staycation."

Ellie: "Staycation?"

Max: "Yeah. Like when you stay by your home but you go to different places in your city or ya'know within 40 miles." She nods.

Ellie: "So where are we going for our staycation?"

Max: "Around the city and stuff." She smiles and leans on my shoulder, closing her eyes. She whispers something and I almost miss it.

Ellie: "Thank you. I love you so much."
