#5- Black Hills

The next morning I get up and pack my stuff up. After I'm done I look at the clock, 9:26. I walk over to Ellie and stare at her for a second. She really is a pretty girl.

I thought you said she "wasn't your type?"

Ugh, girls can be pretty and not be my type ya'know?!

*mental eye roll*

What? That's not a thing, I think. Great now I'm arguing with myself! Ugh. But really, she looks beautiful sleeping. Sure she doesn't look perfect like the movies. Her hair is messed up and one of her legs is off of the bed but she still manages to catch my eye.

I shake her gently and whisper to her,

Max: "Hey Ellie, it's time to wake up. Our next place is kinda far." She stirs a little and then groans.

Ellie: "Fine. But your bringing my bags to the car." I roll my eyes and walk away. I grab my bags and start walking towards the door.

Max: "I'll be right back, get your stuff ready and I'll pick it up by the door." I don't get a response and I don't think she heard me but oh well. After I put my stuff in the car I go back upstairs and open the door.

Max: "Dang."

Ellie is in lace underwear staring at her stuff. She turns around and once she sees me staring gets a mad look on her face.

Ellie: "Get out you pervert!" She yells and I close the door and run downstairs locking me in my car and climbing into the back seat.

She's gonna kill me... this is how I die, from a teenage girl mad at me for seeing her in her underwear on accident... but was it worth it?

Hey! Wait a second?! No stop. I'm not that kind of guy okay!

A few minutes later I see Ellie calmly walking towards my car with two bags. She's not smiling but she doesn't look mad. When she comes to the car she knocks on my front window. I climb to the front and open the door. She doesn't look mad so maybe she's past that "experience" and she's moved on, that's good cuz I want at least to finish college before I die, and ya'know not from a teenage girl. Plus it looks like she calmed down.

But of course I was wrong.

She gets in the car puts her stuff in the back seat and grabs me by my hair and pulls my head down.

Ellie: "YOU PERVERT!" I wince and she let's go. I look up to see her crossed arms and mad face.

Max: "Sorry but I didn't know! I told you I was coming back up."

Ellie: "You could've knocked." She says calmly.

Max: "Your just going to keep arguing until you win so just tell me my punishment." I say defeated. She smirks and thinks for a minute.

Ellie: "You get two punishments. The first one is I get to give you a nickname and you have to answer to it for the whole day." She says smiling.

Max: "Okay, hit me up with a nickname." Ellie always makes up the cutest and most original nicknames for people so I can't wait for this, this is no punishment.

Ellie: "Asswipe."

Max: "What?! B-but? Your nicknames are always cute and original!" I say giving her the lip. She laughs and I pout more.

Ellie: "Well sorry Asswipe but that's your name for today." I roll my eyes and start driving.

Max: "So we're going to the black hills and for like an hour and then we're going somewhere real fun."

Ellie: "I'm not even going to ask where. Because you Asswipe won't tell me." She points to me and I chuckle.

Max: "Good girl." I said a little seductively which surprises me and her. There's an awkward silence so I change the subject.

Max: "So uh, what's my other punishment?"

Ellie: "You owe me a favor."

Max: "What's the favor?"

Ellie: "I don't know. But I'll ask for it when I know." I nod and we sit in silence the rest of the ride.

After about 6 1/2 hours we arrive at the Black Hills in South Dakota. It's 4:05 pm, long drive but she'll like it I hope. I park and we get out and start walking around.

Ellie: "Do you know where we are going?"

Max: "Nope. I've never been here."

Ellie: "Then how are we going to get back?!"

Max: "I don't know? Isn't there signs somewhere?"

Ellie: "How would I know? Let's ask someone."

So we ask a few people and get it all figured out. We spent an hour walking around and then we sat down and looked out at the hills.

Ellie: "Wow, this is a beautiful view. I'm so glad I bought 3 pairs of these comfy shorts at the Mall!" I chuckle and she blushes a little. We stare at the Black Hills and she takes a few pictures, then we leave.

We drive to an airport and Ellie gives me a confused look and I just smile.

Ellie: "Wait, if we're going on an airplane what's gonna happen to your car?"

Max: "Don't worry about it." She looks away and follows me. I cover her eyes half the time so she doesn't know we're going and she doesn't care, in fact she relaxed when I covered her eyes. It was like my touch calmed her down and if felt really good to know she trusts me.

We board the plane and she has a huge smile on her face. After the plane takes off I start talking to her.

Max: "Wanna play a game?"

Ellie: "Sure."

Max: "Let's play who runs out of cheesy pickup lines first? Whoever runs out first looses." I smirk because I know I'm going to win.

Ellie: "Challenge accepted."

Max: "Okay, I'll go first. Did you fall from the sky cuz you look like an angle." She giggles and says hers.

Ellie: "You must be a keyboard because your just my type." I chuckle and she even adds a wink which makes me laugh more. I've known her forever but who knew she was this funny.

Max: "I would offer you a cigarette, but your already smoking hot." She blushes and we both laugh.

Ellie: "Okay, Okay, my turn! Your lips look so lonely, would they like to meet mine?"

Max: "Are you cinderella, cuz I see that dress coming off at midnight." She gasps and I laugh.

Ellie: "Your dirty Asswipe!" We continue and of course I win, I mean I'm Max Sonic.
