(Vanoss/Evan's POV)

I awoke from my slumber. The peaceful silence as the sun shone through the windows into the bedroom, the large bed only having me in it. The loss of my partner on the other side of the bed creating a small breeze. The warmth dissipating from where he once lay. I got out of bed reluctantly, listening out to where my lover was. A small humming could be heard from the large bathroom across the hallway. The sweet melody was music to my ears as they left his plump lips.

I carefully walked into the bathroom as he stood in front of the mirror. His reflection showing the true beauty I saw everyday. Absolutely stunning. I quietly stepped behind him, hugging him around his waist whilst nuzzling into his warm neck. The humming coming to a finish as he grabbed the side of my face gently.

"Morning Evy~" He whispered softly, smiling widely at my presence.

"Morning Jon, what are we doing today babe?" I asked curiously, pecking his neck casually.

"We are going to the art museum today, they are having an open day so I thought we could go." He says, looking at me in the reflected panel.

"Of course, let's get ready then." I said before kissing his cheek and travelling back to our room.

I grab a nice grey shirt and black skinny jeans with my traditional red and white jacket. Walking back to the bathroom to brush my teeth, the shower turns on briskly. Brushing my teeth hastily as Jon scrubs away in the shower.

-Timeskip to when they leave-

Once we shut the front door and locked it, we were on our way. The drive was filled with enthusiasm and laughter as we talked about our friends and pur memories together.

We pulled up to the front entrance, the art museum looming over us with massive columns holding up the beautiful chiselled designs on the roof and walls. The inside was no different. Glorious patterns and pictures were etched into the fine plaster. The floors lined as shiny marble, echoing every footstep that trampled through these halls. Aligned on the walls were sculptures of men, women and obscure objects and art work of all kinds, multiple coloured or completely grey scale, some with shapes and different sizes of features. So unique and diligent.

Jonathan's eyes had widened and his mouth agape at the sight before him. I swiftly grabbed his hand and pulled him closer to me and started walking further in to the museum's collection.

Jonathan waltzed us towards some of Monet's work. The beautiful flowers that were spread through his art and the pastel shades that cascaded through each petal and bud that had rose in the scene played out on the paper.

I scanned the art for a moment, admiring each piece that had come from Monet. Then Jon called my name. I turned to see him standing still, smiling at me.

"What?" I asked, confused as to why he was smiling towards me.

"At first I thought I was looking at Monet, but you are so much more beautiful up close." He said smoothly, coming closer to me and placing his hand on my lower back.

I stood there stunned at the words that left his mouth until I began smiling wildly. I kiss his forehead before we laugh and carry on with our tour of the museum.

Jonathan started to pull me closer to some of the other paintings, various in monochromatic tones and some with bright shapes that covered the whole painting. I stood back, watching his eyes gaze at the sizes and shapes and different colours that spread out there.

He was gorgeous. His pale skin glowing in the museums lights and his eyes, they were so innocent. More bewitching and indescribable than any art work in any museum. Nothing could match the emotion, the love or anything else compared to his eyes. His eyes as blue as a summer morning sky and attached were long eyelashes like fairy wings. Each detail that carved his body and each curve he had made him extraordinary. I loved every part of him.

Then I was knocked from my trance, a blur flashing over my eyes. I looked around to see Jonathan affixed to my gaze.

"You were staring at me for so long." Jonathan said, batting his eyelashes as he always did.

"Sorry for staring, I thought your face was a work of art." I said, grabbing his hand and leading us away from that area. He giggled and softly punched my arm acknowledging my compliment.

As we finally came to a stop at some art, Jonathan let go of my hand and ran towards the sculptures that sat in front of the last hallway. After a while of admiring more of the art, he came back and tried to take my hand.

"Sorry babe, I can't hold your hand. There are signs saying not to touch the masterpieces." I say casually, looking back at Jonathan curiously.

His face was ablaze and was completely frozen. I simply smiled and caressed his cheek, resting my hand on his chin carefully.

"You are still the only piece of art that takes my breath away." I say, before kissing his lips lightly. Then lying my head against his, admiring his beauty once again.

Then leaving, Jonathan beside me, where I hope he will stay for the rest of my life.
