Shower singing - A DaithideLui (DaithideNogla and Lui Calibre) Story

Nogla/David's POV

I stretched as I made my way out of bed. The comfy mattress leaving my back and the warmth disappearing from my blankets. I stumbled around before gathering my clothes and leaving my room, walking across the cold panelled floors. I edged my way to the bathroom and dumped my clothes on the side counter. I did my daily routine brush for my teeth and then turned the faucet for the shower.

The rushing sound of water filled my ears, steam rising from the warm air mixing with the cold. The heat radiating from the water was pleasant and calming in the chilly bathroom. I stripped down to the nude before stepping into the shower. The metal pipes all fogged and condensing from the warm heat. The mild lukewarm temperature was relaxing, soothing me from my worries and stresses of the upcoming day. The clear liquid ran down my goose-bumped skin, leaving trails and patterns upon my body. The temperate H2O cleared my head and cleansed me from the dirt not only on my body but in my head as well.

Then I started to sing in the shower...

Lui's POV

I had woken up to someone singing beautifully. The male voice caught ever note perfectly and the smooth roughness made it all the better. The sad song he had sang pulled at my heart strings and the melodic tune was sang perfectly, I could listen to him all day. 

So you brought out the best of me

A part of me I've never seen

You took my soul and wiped it clean

I carried on listening until I came up with an idea. I then sprinted to the kitchen as fast as my legs could carry me.

Nogla/David's POV

 Once I had finished singing and washing the foamy bubbles off of me, I stepped out with a towel wrapped around my waist. I dried myself off and blow dried my dark messy hair whilst getting changed into the clothes I had picked out. Once I had finished, a tiny knock broke the small silence of my apartment. I walked to the door curiously and opened it, to see no one there. A small envelope was placed outside my door.

Neighbour. It read.

I walked back into my warm apartment and glanced at the neat writing upon it. I was nervous, why would they write me a letter?

I opened the envelope, tearing the paper carefully to see a folded piece of paper inside.

I started to read the note,

Dear Neighbour,

I just wanted to say that I am thankful of you for waking me up.

Your voice is beautiful and I enjoyed listening to your lovely song.

Next time, may I hear you sing in person rather than your normal shower singing?

Call it a date.

Thanks and keep singing. It's perfect.
