HELP

ok so i have long hair. Ive wanted short hair since i was like 4. People say i wont suit it because of my head shape. Idk. Is my head round? Or square? I cant tell man. So ive been looking on sites like

Short hair round head
Short hair square head

Because i think I'll suit it. And everyone is like
"No dont do it! You'll regret it"
And im like I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!
