Theyre beautiful. Theyre my favourite confection. Its a circle of orange flavoured jelly (not jam) covered in a think layer of chocolate and place on top of a small sponge cake base. Theres this whole debate in the uk whether jaffa cakes are a cake or a biscuit (you guys cookie) . Theyre in the biscuit isle but called jaffa CAKES.
I personally say that theyre cakes
1) its in da name
2) on the great british bakeoff the queen that is merry berry told the bakers to make them on CAKE WEEK! AND ONE MUST OBEY MERRY BERRY SHES AMAZING.
