Chapter 6

Arianna stopped fighting. Maybe if he thought she quit fighting he would slip up and let his guard down. She allowed the man to put her in a white van. Her thoughts were racing and every single thought kept reminding her there wasn’t much she could do.

How could she just give up without a fight? She didn’t even recognize the man who was kidnapping her. Her eyes bore into his face with such disgust and hatred. He smiled and slammed the door of the white van shut.

Somehow, she knew it was pointless to try and open it. She tried to anyways and of course it was on child lock. She was trapped and they were going to kill her! They were going to kill her beloved baby!

She would give her own life to save her child if it was possible. Rubbing small circles on her stomach, her memory placed her in a different time. This memory was a time that was not very long ago.

The man she loved had let her escape to buy her some extra time. There were three of them against her beloved man. She was scared out of her mind. He kept screaming for her to leave but she couldn’t move my feet.

She didn’t want to leave him but she knew she had to. She could remember it all too well. It was as if she could hear the fighting all over again.

She had ran out the back door into the mass amount of trees. Before that day she had always thought they were scary looking. As she remembers her frantic emotions during her escape, she remembers feeling gratitude for the trees.

They had been her shield and allowed her to escape. Tears began to fall from her eyes as she remembers three very distinctive, loud booms from behind her.

Three gun shots that sent a heart stopping chill down her spine!
