Chapter 7
Something falling down on her hands brought her back to the present. Arianna looked down and realized it was the tears falling from her eyes.
She wiped away the tears, as best as she could. She had never felt so helpless, scared, alone and angry in her life. There was nothing she could do so she tried to accept the consequences.
Her eyes were beginning to adjust to the darkness within the van. Blinking several times, her eyes adjusted and she began to look around. This van was actually quite nice and it would seem very comfortable.
That is, of course, if it wasn’t for her current state. There was nothing between the driver seat and passenger seat. It was a little weird because usually there is an arm rest, or consol.
She looked at the radio and then her gaze was caught by something shiny. It was metal hanging from the side of the steering wheel. It was the keys! She was just about to throw herself forward when she heard something.
She was stunned to realize she wasn’t the only one in the van. There was a woman sitting in the seat behind hers. She strained to see the woman’s face, but it was impossible without a light of some kind.
The woman spoke and as she did the pregnant woman’s heart almost stopped!
