Chapter 7: Adaption- James Darrison January 13th

I was lucky the werewolves let me go with them they told me I could be useful to them. Well at least they weren't trying to eat me like every other person I knew who turned out to be a Beast. They don't like that term here for some reason Beast is an insult according to them. Also I'm in a cage it's a much bigger cage and I can't leave but they all sleep in here to do I guess I can't really complain. They took Danny out hunting and told me to just stay put easy enough right? What do you think I'm going to do try to bust out like every cliche captive ever? Hell no! I'm staying right here until they get back I do not want to get torn limb from limb because I had to be a hero. In technical terms I'm a Chronicler if anything. We all are, can we really justify our actions over another's there's no heros or villians just people and experiences. Oh see there back and they brought food! You can go ahead and call me a bitch all you want I'm alive and still in good enough with these guys to get some food. When they came down I noticed Danny wasn't with them.
"Where's Danny?"
They looked at me for a bit as if they were judging me to see if I was worthy of answer. Why I don't fricken know I'm not even sure if they were all I know is they just kind of stared at me for like 5 minutes than finally spoke.
"Initiation."
One word thanks guys really worth the wait on that one.
"Okay when will he be back?" I asked
"Only time will tell don't worry you have yours coming as well."
"Wait what?" I got my oh shit face on and started to panick. Like really panic. I have to pass an initiation or I'm out of here. I have to join the pack. What does that even mean do I do the tasks then they bite me. Turn me into a Werewolf. Is it more like a live like a wolf thing where my only disadvantage is that I don't have powers. I mean I could ask but I'm not sure if I want to know the answer. So best option a slow nod. Yep that's what I'm going with. What has my life come to? I've become a dog's dog. Slowly tamed after being put into a cage. Funny thing is they didn't even do anything I'm just to scared of these guys turning on me to actually have a will of my own. I may not have will but I still have my thoughts and with my thoughts I write and when I write this comes out of it so I guess that's okay. Boom just justified myself! The log is the perfect excuse to do anything! Okay did I just write that? Maybe my system does need to be tweaked at least a little. Anyways for the next entry I'm going to try something different that Tyler said he wanted to try so we can add Danny's initiation in here. Let's just say it involves a bit of mind manipulation and a Shades ability to control. Okay I'm just going to say it Tyler figured out a way to write in this thing as it's happening without someone writing this way here we can have a connection to all our perceptions.

(In other words it's a thing I came up with so James doesn't have to move around to get everyone's perspective they can all be shared and written without the person actually having the book plus as an added bonus we now have the luxury of constant Tyler commentary opportunities.
