Wolf Adventure

It was cold, wet. I was scared to death. I think my mother was dead I dont know for sure. I do know one thing... Father is gone for sure. I heard his cries, howls. Just then im awakened by my mothers side. "Whew, it was just a dream".

"Sophia are you ok." Mother had a frightened voice.

"Mom im fine, just a bad dream thats all."

"Oh thats a good thing then, huh." Replied mother with a grim tone.

"Ya, well were is dad?"

"Oh he just went to go get food for the den thats all. He'll be back in a little bit."

I awake to a strange place. It wasnt the den, no where near the forest. Was I..... IN A ZOO. I looked at mom and dad. They knew it just as much as I.

"Mom.... umm are we-"I was cut off by my mother.

"Don't say it...yes we are in a zoo." She replied with a furrowed tone.

I looked at father. He looked pissed. Although I did notice that it wasnt just us. There were 20 other wolves in the pen with us. I thought I was in hell. That's when I just turned over and went to sleep, dreaming about how to get out of this place.

I woke up the next day with the sun baking on my face. I looked all around hoping I was just dreaming, but I wasnt. I looked up to see people starring down at me with excited faces.

"Mommy look at that one, it's really white."

"Honey, take it easy, don't look to much."

"But mom, look at it."

I show him my teeth with a expression saying I wasn't in the mood, then finally they left. Mother was looking at me with a really upset look.

I just exchange the same look, and walk off trying to find privacy. But when you have 10 other wolves in the same pen its hard to do that.
