Tahlia's p.o.v
" Dad no"! I huff as He tries to convince me about what him and Dylan talked about. He continues to look at the road and not once looking at me.
" It's for the best, I have found a great place there and it will be perfect for us" Dad sighs.
" Dad please no" I sigh.
" I'm sorry Tahlia, But moving to California will be good for us, Los Angeles has too many bad memories and we will come back in 2 years when everything is much better" Dad sighs.
The answer was final. In a week my family and I would be moving to Califronia and returning in 2 years.
I step out of the car as Liam holds my hand walking me inside. I walk to the kitchen and grab out my phone.
I text Summer and Tayla, Riley and Dylan, and I tell them to come over. They all reply with an okay.
Soon enough there's a small knock on the door as I open it to see Dylan and Riley.
" Hey guys" I smile as they both say hello and walk in.
" Uhm so are you better now"? Riley asks.
" Yeah.. I think so" I smile as I pass them both a cup of soda.
The door bell rings as I quickly run down and let Summer and Tayla in.
" Where were yoy last night"? Tayla asks
" I went home" I gently smile as we walk upstairs.
" Well that's boring" Summer huffs as we all walk to the kitchen.
" So why did you invite us all here"? Riley asks
" I uh have something important to tell you" I sigh as everyone looks up at me and listens.
" What is it"? Tayla asks.
" You can tell us" Riley nods.
" Just say it" Summer huffs
" In a week Im moving to California for 2 years" I quickly say without taking a breath.
" What why"?! Summer freaks.
" Dad wants me to"I shrug taking a sip of my water.
" That's not fair. Just live with Summer here" Riley huffs
" Yeah and what about Joey"? Tayla says.
" Joey and I are over" I shrug.
" Since when"?! Riley's eyes widen.
" Since last night when we had a fight" I look down wanting to avoid their faces.
" Well if you're coming back in 2 years we will wait" Summer nods.
" Really"?! I smile.
" You're worth the wait Tahls" Dylan shakes his head.
" Yeah of coarse" Tayla nods as Riley grins.
" Thanks guys" I smile as we all pull in for a group hug.
4 days later
Its a friday and the whole week of school has been okay. Exept for the fact that I have had to see Joey every day but not once have I spoke to him. He occasionally tries to talk to me but no... he doesn't even know im moving
Anyway it's lunch and right now I'm sitting at a table with Summer, Tayla, Riley, Dylan, Jett, Troy and... Joey.
" So California hey"? Jett asks me as my eyes widen knowing Joey will now know.
" what about California"?! Joey looks over at Jett.
" What don't you know"? Jett asks.
I look over at Dylan in a shit way as he shrugs.
" Tahlia's moving to California tomorrow" Jett shrugs as Joey sits there with his mouth wide open.
" Anyway when you get back can you bring me a souvineer" Riley laughs.
" What kind"? I laugh.
" Lollies, food and definitely a drink"! Summer cheers as Tayla laughs.
" I'm going to miss you guys" I shake my head.
" it's fine you'll be back for senior year"! Dylan grins.
" I guess" I smile.
" Im going to the bathroom I'll be right back" Riley nods.
" Yeah I'll go too" Jett says as they stand up and walk off.
" Okiee I need some food, I'm going to the canteen" Tayla smiles.
" I'm coming" Troy and Summer say in unison.
As Dylan, Joey and I sit at the table Dylan playfully kicks my feet under the table as Joey coughs.
" Tahlia can I please talk to you.." Joey sighs.
" Sure..." I huff as Dylan remains sitting as Joey and I walk about 4 metres away.
" I am so so sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you, hit you and I definitely didn't mean to tell you that we are off" Joey shakes his head.
" Joey I don't care anymore" I try and walk off as he grabs my hand.
"I still love you" He says as he looks down at our hands.
" Well you should've thought about that. I'm moving anyway what's the point Joey" I shake my head.
" I don't want you to get with anyone while you are in California" Joey shakes his head.
" You know what Joey, for once that's not your decision" I shake my head yanking my hand away from his.
" One more chance Tahlia, that's all I want" He sighs.
" Nah sorry Joey, Besides.. Isn't Izabella way more fun than me"? I sarcastically smile at him before walking back to Dylan, Jett and Riley.
" Okay guys, all meet at Tahlia's house before 10 am" Summer nods as her eyes fill with tears as Tayla sniffles.
" Guys please don't cry"! I frown as I hug both of them.
" It's just, nothing will be the same" Summer cries onto my shoulder.
" Guys I'm not dead"! I laugh as everyone does too.
Saturday 9:55am
The car was packed. Liam was asleep in the back seat and dad was in the driver's seat ready to leave.
" Summer, You have always been my best friend, when I get back I will bring you lollies and a huge hug" I sniffle as I hug Summer.
" Tayla, I hope you and Troy go well and that you get everything you ever wanted" I gently smile as Tayla wraps her arms around me.
" Riley you have always been there for me even when you are a goof and never take anything serious, I hope everything with Evey goes well" I smile as he nods hugging me.
" Dylan.. I will never stop missing my best friend while I'm in California. I'll call and text you, well I'll call and text all of you guys every day but Dylan thankyou"! I cry into his shoulder as he begins to cry.
" I uh.. I was hoping Joey would be here, but hey" I gently smile as I get into the front seat.
" I love you guys" I cry as they all wave goodbye as the car begins to drive.
This was the new beggining.
