Chapter 9: Night Blues

"What do you mean?! She's your girlfriend?!" Kai exclaimed in shock, he couldn't believe it! Since when did Miwa had a girlfriend?!

"Akari, you didn't tell me you have a boyfriend!" Misaki yelled at Akari, and was also surprised too.

Akari and Miwa both laughed nervously, then they all realized something...

"YOU GUYS KNOW EACH OTHER?!"

They all looked at each other's faces, and all looked shocked by what was happening.

"I didn't know that Miwa-kun and Akari-san are lovers, then Kai-kun is Miwa-kun's friend and Akari-san is Misaki-san's friend!" Aichi stated.

"Isn't this a small world?" Kourin continued as she crossed her arms.

Aichi nodded and blushed as he looked at Kourin.

Then, Morikawa and Izaki were running from the beach and went to the group. Morikawa saw Kourin and he gave a big grin and screamed. "KOURIN-CHAN!!!"

Everyone looked at the guy and they all sweat dropped as Kourin hid behind Aichi and Aichi just gave an awkward smile.

"My Kourin-chan!" Morikawa was about to lounge at Kourin when Izaki stopped him.

"Morikawa, calm the heck down!!"

"NO! MY KOURIN-CHAN IS THERE AND SHE'S VERY BEAUTIFUL! I MUST LOOK! I MUST LOOK!"

Misaki suddenly got angry, she didn't care if she just met this person but he's already irritated her. "You look and sound like a lecherous pervert you know? Stop harassing her!" She scolded.

And they all looked at Misaki, they got a bit scared at her. Miwa looked back at Kai and whispered, "She's exactly like you, man."

Kai only kept quiet about that and touched Misaki's shoulder, "Calm down."

Misaki looked at Kai and she sighed, as she looked back at the now scared Morikawa, she gave a deadly glare.

'God help me...' Morikawa thought in fear.

"Anyways, we just have to wait for Ren and the others to arrive. I'm going to prepare the dishes and such." Kai said and took some of the cooking utensils.

"Woo! Kai's cooking is the best!" Miwa said happily.

Everyone then did what they want on the beach. Misaki was sitting below the beach umbrella and staring at the sea, Akari and Kourin played beach volleyball while Aichi, Miwa, Morikawa, and Izaki were swimming by the sea.

Kai was at the rest house, and he looked at Misaki. He went to her and sat beside her.

"How's the cooking, Kai?" Misaki asked.

"Nearly there, I just had to take a rest." Kai replied.

"I see..."

Miwa saw the two talking and he smirked, "Look at those two, I can see that Kai's starting to like her." He said.

Aichi swam and stopped as he looked at Kourin as she hit the ball, he kept on staring at her for a while until Miwa splashed water on his face.

"Yahoo! We've arrived!" It was Ren.

Kai saw Ren, Asaka, and Tetsu and he approached them. "You guys were a little late." Kai said.

Ren smiled at him, "Oh well..."
