Chapter 22: I'm Her Lover

The sound of the train were as loud, the passengers were waiting for the upcoming train for their destinations.

"I guess I'm early, Kourin-san and Mutsuki-san aren't still here." Aichi gave a sigh as he looked at his wristwatch.

"Hey Aichi," he heard someone called him.

Aichi glanced around and saw Kourin and Jun together, it made him a little jealous, considering that they're the ones officially known as the couple instead of Aichi and Kourin.

"Hey there!" Aichi still kept a smile on his face as he greeted them.

"Is the train here now?" Jun asked.

"Not yet, but it would come any minute from now." Aichi replied and looked away right after.

Kourin somehow noticed Aichi's sudden change of mood, she approached him and taps on his shoulder.

"Aichi, are you okay?" Kourin asked.

Aichi glanced at Kourin, he gave a nod. "Of course, I'm just a little tired. I took care of the shop since there was a wedding yesterday and they bought many flowers."

"That's great, Aichi. Your shop's really famous."

"I'm flattered."

The train to Tokyo arrived, and all passengers went in the train. The three; Aichi, Kourin, and Jun sat all together. With Aichi in front of the two while they sat next to each other.

'It's okay, Aichi. It's just for publicity...' Aichi thought as he looked at them as they talked to each other.

"Aichi, this is your first time going to Tokyo, right?" Kourin asked Aichi.

"Y-yes, it's my first time... I think." Aichi replied unsurely.

This made Kourin get curious a bit. He thinks? There must be a time that Aichi did visit Tokyo before, but she didn't know.

"You think?" She repeated.

"I don't know, I think that I did went there before but... I'm having second thoughts, it's either a dream or it actually happened." Aichi replied.

"But what if you did went there once but you just don't remember?" Jun said.

"It... could be, perhaps?" Aichi smiled awkwardly and chuckled.

Jun smiled back and then looked at Kourin who seemed to become quiet as she stared at the window.

"Kourin, are you still thinking about the contract?" He asked.

"It's bugging me, what if Aichi's..." Kourin looked at Aichi and she gulped in nervousness. "I hope this won't happen, but what if Aichi's plan won't work?"

"Kourin-san, please don't think about that. Our plan will work, just believe in it." Aichi told her, assuring her that everything will be fine. Even if he himself had thought it won't work well.

"I... I hope..." Kourin had never been so distraught, she felt so nervous. She can only look at the window again.

Aichi and Jun were the only two speaking, and Kourin kept quiet, she didn't want to speak for a while. She has to think what they should do in case Aichi's plan fails.

They were like that until they reached Tokyo.

After a few hours of traveling, they had finally arrived. All passengers took their things.

"We've arrived, Kourin-san." Aichi stated, he looked at Kourin who went asleep. And Jun stood up from his seat as he took his things.

"Kourin-san," Aichi called as he approached her and touched her shoulder to wake her up.

Kourin opened her eyes and looked at Aichi before she stood.

And so they left the train and proceeded to go to the station.

As they went out of the station, Aichi was mesmerized by the scenery. Tokyo is full of people, vehicles, and commercial buildings. It was unlike his hometown where it's provincial and while there are many people, it is not as full as he's seeing right now.

"W-wow..." Aichi breathed, he had a big grin on his face. Tokyo is such a different place.

"Aichi, let's go. We still have to go to my place." Kourin told him.

"O-of course! I'm coming!" Aichi went to Kourin and Jun and then Aichi was shocked to see that there is a black car waiting for them.

"W-who's car is that?" Aichi asked as he looked at the expensive vehicle.

"My family's," Kourin replied. "I already called them that I'm coming home, and so they sent this here. Now, let's go."

"S-sure!"

As the three of them rode on the car, the ride went for a few minutes before they arrived at the residence of the Tatsunagis.

Aichi was mesmerized, he never thought that Kourin would be this rich. With the huge house and vast garden, and with the luxurious car he was in.

"We're here," Kourin stated as she went out of the car, Aichi and Jun followed later.

As they went inside the manor, Aichi found a girl with twin tails and the other is a blue haired woman.

"Kourin, you're back." Suiko spoke with a smile.

"Kourin!!" Rekka suddenly embraced Kourin and smiled.

"H-hey guys," Kourin smiled back awkwardly.

Rekka looked at Jun in which she waved her hands to, and as she glanced at Aichi, she gave a mischievous smile and approached him.

"Oh, who is this handsome man you brought here?" Rekka stated.

Aichi smiled awkwardly and laughed. Rekka continued staring at him.

"Rekka, cut that off." Kourin scolded.

"Introduce yourself please," Suiko said to Aichi.

"Ah, yes! My name is Aichi Sendou, 24 years old, I live in the outskirts of Tokyo. I own a flower shop." Aichi spoke.

Suiko then replied, "So you're a florist. What exactly is your business for visiting us?"

"I came here because I want to prevent the marriage to happen." Aichi said with determination, his eyes filled with seriousness.

"And why?" Rekka asked.

"It's because I am Kourin-san's lover."

With that response, Suiko and Rekka got shocked.
