It had been 10 long years since she has left Hogwarts and her life had changed in many ways. Hermione Granger was no longer the little girl who hid behind her knowledge. She was a woman, a war heroin, a lover and a mother. But she had not been seen by the wizarding world in over 8 years. Some say she moved away after a heartbreaking split from Ron Weasley. Some say she was kidnapped. Others say that she was dead. None of them were right however.

Hermione still lived in England, in a quiet little village. The only thing that had changed was her surname. She was no longer Hermione Jean Granger. And the letter placed down in front of her by her husband proved that. "They got your name right," He said with a laugh as Draco Malfoy leaned down to pick up the young boy who had been playing on the floor. The young boy who resembled his father all too much with striking blue eyes and platinum blonde hair. His older sister could be heard outside, playing on her toy broom despite it being very early in the morning. Hermione was glad they had a house away from the muggles in the village. It gave her children the freedom they needed to grow as wizards.

Hermione looked down at the formal letter. "You have one too?" She asked Draco who nodded. "I haven't opened it though. I'm guessing they contain the exact same thing. Both from Hogwarts" He said as he tickled his son. Hermione smiled and ripped open the letter that was correctly addressed to Mrs Hermione Jean Malfoy.

Dear Mrs Malfoy,

As Headmistress of Hogwarts, I would like to welcome you and the rest of the class of 1999 to a 10 year anniversary ball. Partners and children are invited also. The ball will be starting at 7pm. As this is the merged 7th and 8th year ball that graduated after the Second Wizarding War, a special two minute silence will be held at 9pm to celebrate those who are no longer with us.

On behalf of all of Hogwarts, I cannot wait to see you and your family there.

Professor Mcgonagall,

"A 10 year ball?" Draco asked out loud after reading over Hermione's shoulder. "Are you ready to merge back in the wizarding world? Ready to see Potter and Weasley again after what happened?" He asked softly, rubbing Hermione's shoulder in a comforting way. Hermione sighed "I don't know. I haven't spoke to them in over 8 years. They don't know I married you. They don't know about Scorpius or Delilah." She started stressing out but Draco soon calmed her. "Come on Mione. You know it's not good to be stressed. It can affect the baby." He said as he looked down at Hermione's stomach. She was also 6 months pregnant with their third child. It was a girl and she was hoping for a child that would be a mix of both her and Draco. Scorpius was 3 and of course looked a lot like his father. And then there was Delilah who was a walking double of Hermione with her bushy brown hair and Hermione's warm brown eyes. She was their first and at 5 years old, ruled the whole house.

Hermione had never expected to marry Draco or have his kids. Before the war she would have said that it was the worst thing she could ever do. But in her year at Hogwarts after the war, her 8th year as it was called, she was lonely. Harry and Ron had both been given auror training after the war and had jumped at the chance. She saw them most weekends but while she was at Hogwarts, she was lonely. She had Ginny of course but Ginny had her own friends in her year. Hermione had also become Head Girl while at Hogwarts. She shared a dorm with none other than Draco. She of course shared a dorm with him although the two students didn't speak to each other for the first couple of weeks. Then on Hermione's 20th birthday, he got her a gift. A brand new copy of Hogwarts, A History. He said that he had found pages that had come out of her other copy and so bought her a new one.

After that the two spoke every now and again and soon became friends. He had changed after the war, his whole family had. Hermione remembered the christmas of that year. She spent it with her own family, after all she had been apart from them for a whole year not knowing if they were safe. But a card and present still came from him. As well as an invitation to a New Year's Ball. She went with Harry and Ron who had also received invitation and she properly met his parents who, after Voldemort was gone, had turned very warm and accepting.
