(I just want to point out that as Hermione's parents are not named in the Harry Potter books, I have given them names of my choosing)

Hermione sighed as she flattened her dress and looked at her mother. "I don't get why you've forced me out of work for a week to go to this stupid reunion." She sighed as her mother smiled "Hermione. The last time you went to one of these reunions you was still in Hogwarts. It's been 10 years since anyone has seen you." Her mother smiled. Hermione nodded "Yeah and for good reasons. They all hate me and used to bully me." She sighed. Of course, Hermione wasn't the same little girl they had bullied. She was now a woman. Age 24, she had been through enough hassle to last a lifetime. But it had made her stronger.

And she had a plus, she was already married and had her one year old son. Her marriage had shocked the wizarding world when it was revealed. Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy. A match no one had seen coming. But they worked so damn well together. He wasn't coming today. Neither was their son Scorpius. Draco and his parents had gone on their own little holiday for three days and taken Scorpius with them. Draco would return in two days now. Hermione just had to survive that long. But she knew that they would be the longest two days of her life.

And it was all because of her cousins. Her mother's nieces, they were all older than Hermione and used to treat her so bad. Cleo was the worst of them all. She was 2 years older than Hermione and had been the one to turn the others against Hermione. June and May were twins and they were her little henchmen. Or at least used to be. They were a year older than Hermione but could be just as mean as Cleo.

But Hermione had one cousin who wasn't so bad. Cleo's younger sister Eva was the nicest. She was the same age as Hermione and the two used to bond over their love of books and learning. Hermione heard that Eva had gone to a very good university due to her intelligence. The others had gone to University too, but they weren't as studious as Hermione and Eva were.

They were all meeting in a countryside hotel. They would be staying there for a week, bonding and doing fun activities as a family. Of course, Hermione would rather be at her own home or even work than near the other family members, who were starting to arrive.

Much to Hermione's dismay, Cleo was the first to arrive with her parents. Eva was coming separate from her new flat in London. Cleo looked the same and the glare on her face when she spotted Hermione proved that she was still the teenage like girl Hermione remembered. "Amanda and Roger." Cleo's mother, Anne, jumped forward to greet her sister and husband. Hermione just watched while her parents hugged the family. "My god Hermione. It's been years. How did you get her out here Amanda?" Anne smiled as she leaned forward to hug Hermione as well. Anne was amazing, she was the one who would tell Cleo off and usher Hermione to Eva. "You look beautiful Darling. I do love that dress." Anne said with a cheery smile. "Thanks aunt Anne." Hermione said simply. Cleo chose to ignore Hermione and welcome her parents instead, Hermione didn't care. She prefers it that way.

Soon Hermione's family had extended from just her and her parents to them, her aunt Anne and uncle John, Cleo, June, May, her other aunt Cassidy and uncle David as well as her grandparents. "Eva is taking forever. I'm cold mum." Cleo complained while they waited for Eva. She didn't have to wait much longer as soon after, Eva pulled up in her own car and smiled at her family "Sorry I'm late guys. Horrible sickness." She said as she jumped out her car. Hermione grinned seeing the baby bump on her cousin's normally petite frame.

Soon the family all made their way inside and checked into their rooms. "Hey stranger." Eva said to Hermione who instantly smiled. "Hey. I've missed you." Hermione smiled as she hugged Eva who nodded "Trust me, these reunions are just as rubbish as they used to be. Although I haven't been to the past two." She laughed as Hermione looked at her "So what made you come to this one?" Hermione asked. Eva had a hand on her stomach and smiled "Well you of course. I found out that you had actually agreed to come and I jumped at the chance to see you again-" Eva started but was cut off by her sister. "We can't all agree now can we?"
