***Aleana POV***

Night has fallen and the men stand ready and armed on the battlements of Helms Deep. Haldir and his army of elves stand lined on top of the Deeping Well, myself standing with them. We watch as the Uruk-hai army advances towards us with torches. My eyes scan our soldiers, looking for Aragorn, and I spot him speaking to Legolas and Gimli.

Lightning flashes and thunder rumbles, my eyes casting to the darkened sky as rain starts to fall. The sound of the drops falling could be heard as they made contact with the metal armor of the soldiers. The Uruk-hai army draws closer, stopping just as they reach Helms Deep. I see Aragorn begin to walk towards where I stood, walking thought the lines of elves.

"A eruch'n -dano i faelas a hyn an uben tanatha le faelas [show them no mercy! For you shall receive none]," he shouts to be heard over the thunder and rain.

The Uruks grunt and growl, stamping their spears on the ground in unison and beating their chests. It was as if they were trying to place fear in our hearts and my grip tightens around my bow just as Aragorn comes and stands by me, facing the army. He takes out his sword and holds it in front of him as the men load their bows. Suddenly, an arrow flies and shoots an Uruk in the neck, killing him instantly.

"Dartho[hold!]," Aragorn screams as the Uruk falls to the ground dead. They begin growling ferociously as the captain Uruk thrusts forward his scimitar and shouts and the Uruk-hai advance upon Helm's Deep at a run.

"Tangado a chadad [prepare to fire], " Aragorn shouts and we load and aim our bows.

"Faeg i-varv d'n na lanc a nu ranc [their armor is weak at the neck and beneath the arm]," Legolas says and I aim accordingly, waiting for Aragorn's command.

"Leithio i philinn [release the arrows!]," Aragorn commands and we let go, the arrows sailing through the sky and finding their mark. Many Uruks fall dead and we quickly load our bows again. The men release a volley of arrows after us on Theoden's orders and just after them Aragorn tells us to release another volley. We do as he says and more Uruks fall from the enslaught of arrows.

The Uruks begin to fire at us with their cross-bows and I see a few elves fall. Other Uruks set ladders against the Deeping Wall and Aragorn shouts a warning as they begin climbing it.

"Swords! Swords," Aragorn shouts to us and we quickly unsheath our swords just as the Uruks begin climbing over the walls. I rush forward, pushing away one of the ladders which falls and kills many Uruks still on the ground in front of the wall. Then I turn around and attack the other Uruks that had already gotten on the wall, my sword meeting theirs.

I fight three at once, but I am quicker and more agile and before long they are lying dead on my feet. I look up to see a Uruk raising his spear, ready to strike a hurt soldier and I grab an abandoned spear on the floor and throw it across, hitting him in the throat. He lets out a startled cry before falling dead. The soldier looks to me in thanks before stumbling to his feet and continuing to fight.

Aragorn's frantic shout has me looking to see what was happening and I see a Uruk coming towards the wall with a lit torch.

"Togo hon dad, Legolas [bring him down, Legolas!]," Aragorn shouts and Legolas takes aim with his arrow and shoots the Uruk in the shoulder, but it does not stop him.

"Dago hon! Dago hon [Kill him! Kill him!]," Aragorn yells.

Legolas shoots another arrow into his shoulder but the Uruk dives into the sluice. There is and explosion, demolishing the wall and I fly back by the strength of it. I quickly get to my feet though, my eyes looking for Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli. My eyes find Aragorn's unconscious body first and I see Uruks running towards him.

Without another thought, I sheath my sword and draw my bow once more. Quickly loading arrows, I fire at the oncoming Uruks while moving forward. I jump off the side of a wall and on top of the head of Uruk, using it to gain momentum. My foot lands on his head and I push off before turning around mid-air and releasing an arrow into his forehead.

I tumble to the ground, rolling and righting myself up while drawing a blade from my boot. A Uruk raises his spear above his head to strike me, but I am quicker, bringing my blade and slashing it across his stomach. The spear falls from his hands and as he leans forward in pain, I bring the blade up and through the under of his chin. He falls back dead, releasing my blade and I look up to see an unconscious Gimli a few feet away, a Uruk standing over him.

I throw my blade up, before catching it swiftly and easily releasing it towards the Uruk. My blade embeds itself in his forehead and he falls. Immediately I load my bow once more, releasing arrows into the Uruks run through the hole in the wall. Aragorn comes to consciousness and he moves to stand beside me, fighting off any Uruk that comes at us on the wall, allowing me to continue my attack on the Uruks on the ground.

Aragorn raises his sword and gestures to the elves behind us, commanding them to release more arrows. They fire, killing more Uruks. Then he charges with the elves as I move over, jumping on the heads of Uruks, killing them as I made my way across and down to the ground where most of the fighting was now happening.

Just like the others, I once again draw my sword and fight against the Uruks, killing many. I was tiring as were the others and we were easily being overwhelmed as the Uruks kept coming, as if we weren't even making a difference to their ranks.

"Aragorn! Fall back to the Keep," Theoden shouts, "get your men out of there."

"Nan Barad! Nan Barad! [to the Keep! Pull back to the Keep!}," Aragorn shouts to the elves and turns to Haldir on top of the wall, "Haldir, nan Barad! [Haldir, to the keep.]"

I look to see Haldir nod and gestures to his elves as I continue to fight, keeping my eye on him as to make sure he makes it back. I see him turn around and run as he kills a Uruk, but before he can continue running, another Uruk runs up to him and stabs him in the stomach. He clutches his stomach and stumbles.

"HALDIR," I shout, running through the Uruks and killing them as I do so, anger flowing in my veins. I fight to the top of the wall and reach Haldir just as he falls. Kneeling beside him, I take his face in my hands, shaking, begging him to wake up as tears streamed down my face.

"Haldir, echuio! Echuio [Haldir, wake up! Wake up!]," but he lies there dead in my arms. A fierce anger takes hold in my heart and I look up to the sky, screaming in pain and anger. And just like that, Sauron's voice floats into my mind, trying to take hold.

A/n: Ok so this chapter was more fighting, but it is still important! Hope you like it!
