*2 months later*
Time truly flies when you begin to take the time to figure yourself out. And that's exactly what you did. Breaking up with Yoongi really took a toll on you and you found yourself getting more and more depressed, but you still tried to stay positive.
The only reason you have been doing so well with getting over your breakup is because of your best friend Nari. She has been there to help you not focus on him, but she's going out of town for 2 weeks to visit family. She was the only person you had and hearing the news that she would be gone, you didn't know what was going to keep you from going crazy.
"(Y/N) staying in your apartment the entire time I'm gone isn't going to solve your problems," Nari explains.
You roll over in your bed stuffing your face into your pillow as you begin to murmur into it.
"I can't understand you!" She complains.
"Then what else am I supposed to do!" You lift your head up and yell at her.
"It's time for you to figure that out...I mean...it's been 2 months (Y/N); you'll be fine." She softly says causing her words to sound more intense.
—
It's been about a week since Nari left and you haven't been doing so well. You would think that after 2 months...almost 3 that you would be fine about the situation with Yoongi, but you weren't.
You stayed in your cramped apartment since Nari left and you figure it was time to leave before you went completely insane from your thoughts. You get dress and throw on a pair of shoes before heading to a small cafe that was a few blocks from where you lived.
You order your usual iced black coffee and sat at a table in the corner of the cafe.
You could hear the doorbell ringing indicating that people were leaving in and out of the cafe. You look around to see many couples sitting together and sharing desserts. You bitterly look away from them, remembering all the nostalgic memories you had made with Yoongi. You feel a tear fall and you quickly wipe it away.
"Why am I even crying over him?" You say in disbelief. You pop your headphones into your ears before closing you eyes and drowning out your thoughts.
You feel your table shake and bring your head up to see someone in front of you. "It's been awhile." He smiles causing his eyes to disappear. You smile back from the sudden surprise, "I know Jimin."
"How have you been?" He asks. You smile instantly leaves as you bring your sight away from Jimin and onto your drink. You nervously began playing with your straw before answering. "It's been...good I guess."
"That's not very believable," he lightly chuckles.
You could feel your eyes starting to water up as you thought about Yoongi. Jimin realizes the conversation was upsetting you and immediately apologizes. "I'm sorry for bringing it." You shake your head at him and force yourself to smile. "No, it's okay. It's not your fault. I need to get over him."
The two of you sat in silence for awhile before you decided to break the silence. "So what brings you to this cafe?" "We got done with practice early and Yoongi recommended this cafe's drinks." You half heartedly laugh at Jimin's response. "Oh really? We use to come here all the time."You say looking out the window next to you. "How is he?" You finally ask.
Jimin sits up in his chair and stares you into the eyes, "Do you really want to know?" he asks you. You nod your head and he sighs and slouches back into his seat. "I don't know." "You don't know?" you question him, "but you're with him everyday." "You know he never shares his feelings with anyone! No one even knew the two of you broke up until 2 weeks after."
You roll you eyes at what Jimin was telling you. You knew Yoongi could be a little closed off, but this is just ridiculous. You stand up and gather your things, tired of hearing about Yoongi. "Thanks Jimin. It's been nice catching up with you, but I'm a bit tired." He smiles at you not forcing you stay any longer.
You walk towards the exit but stop once you hear Jimin voice, "Wait," he says. You turn around to face him. "We're going to hang out tonight, okay?" "I would but I'm just really tired," you explain. "Okay, I'll come to your place! See you at 8 o'clock!" He smiles causing his eyes to disappear again. "Did you just hear me? I'm tired!" Jimin ignores you before leaving out the door and waving at you. You shake your head before doing the same. "Idiot," You whisper.
—
You're sitting on the couch flipping through channels when you hear a loud knock at your door. You grab the bag of chips you were eating and walk over to the door. You open it and you're welcomed by Jimin. "Hurry grab your shoes and jacket we have to go." He says. You do as he says and when you get back to the door he grabs you by the wrist and starts running down your hall. "Yah! What are you doing?" You yell. "Sorry we're already late."
Jimin makes you run to the park near your house. "Why are we here?" You say while trying to catch your breath.
He doesn't reply and starts running the opposite way you just came. "Where are you going?!" You yell. He turns and waves," Bye." You roll your eyes and start to walk back to your apartment until you hear a voice call your name.
"(Y/N), wait."
You know that voice so well that you didn't have to turn around to see who it was.
You start to cry; you try to cover it up so you would seem strong, but you couldn't.
Without turning around or answering him you continue to walk to home.
He grabs your wrist forcing you to turn around and look at him. You keep your head to the side so you couldn't look him in the eye. "Are you really going to like this?" Yoongi ask. You pull your wrist out of his grip and continue to walk away.
He wraps his arms around your waist and rest his hands on your stomach. He rest his face onto your shoulder and into the nape of your neck, his warm breath causing goosebumps on your skin.
He holds you tight into the hug. "I've missed you." He whispers. You break down into his arms. You turn around to finally face him. He whips your red, puffy eyes. You pull him closer into a tight hug before kissing him passionately.
You pull away, "I'm sorry, but you messed up Yoongi." You say before letting him go and continuing to walk home.
—
You loved him and you still do, but you could never let him get away with what he did to you and how he made you feel.
Goodbye Min Yoongi...forever.
