Samantha ran through the library looking for Ben. It had only been 10 minutes since she had heard what was going on, but she hardly believed it herself. She ran past the Tengusos who were carrying varying sizes of school record books until finally she found what she was looking for. The Academy Information section. The section that was mainly devoted to the history and records of the Academy, and probably the biggest section in the entire library.

"So it's true..." said Samantha with amazement. "He's really doing it.....he's actually.......STUDYING!!"

Or at least he had been, before he fell asleep. Ben was lying on the floor by the bookshelves, sleeping in a pile of open books. Usually, Samantha would have to egg Ben on to get him to study, or study with him to get him going. Samantha mainly did this because she knew Ben was smart and he had a lot of potential......but to see him here now....actually working on his own for a change, Samantha felt she neaded to give him a medal.

"Now let's see what subject you were working on..." said Samantha. She picked up a book and began reading. "History of the Regal Seven? This doesn't have anything to do with any of our subjects...."

Samantha picked up another book. "Former members of the Regal Seven and their quirks and hobbies? Okay......what is going on here?"

Samantha suddenly noticed on the pen circlings on the pages. Circled in every book was the name Brosche Darkholme. Samantha shook her head. "Okay...now I see what's going on here."

Samantha nudged Ben's shoulder gently. "Hey...Ben...wake up."

Ben mumbled in his sleep. "Not now Gwen......make Kevin get it....."

"Ben it's me."

"Not now Samantha.....make Carter get it...."

"Hey Ben." said Samantha holding out a familiar drink. "Smell this?"

Ben's eyes opened wide and he sat up quickly going, "Mr. Smoothy's !!?"

Ben suddenly looked around, as if it was just dawning on him where he was. "Oh, er...how long have I been down here?"

"About 5 hours." said Samantha. "I was looking for you so we could start heading back to the dorms....Carter thought it would good if we grabbed a bite to eat in the town square before we turned in. Then I heard you were studying...."

"Amazing right?" said Ben stretching his arms. "But actually I'm looking for the Brosche guy....."

"Why would you want to go looking for him? He tried to kill you!"

"I'm not looking to die." said Ben. "He.....he made Lilly cry........I can't let that go. When someone hurts somebody as strong like that in front of me, I can't ever let it go. Lilly shouldn't be the one crying, not when she was always so tough."

"I understand how you feel." said Samantha. "Everytime Brook bullied my brother around, don't you think I wanted to burn him to a withering crisp? But we can't always take matters into our own hands...Besides, the principle is already gathering two of the Regal Seven along with a teacher to find Brosche...he won't be a match for them."

"It's not about doing what I want, or getting what I want." said Ben gritting his teeth. "It's the fact that people who play with other people's feelings in such a crude fashion need to.....I don't know........something!"

Samantha placed a gentle hand on Ben's shoulder. "Come on.......let's go. We'll talk about it in the morning."

"...........yeah....sure."

Ben and Samantha got up to leave. Suddenly a flock of tengusos fluttered from the opposite direction in absolute fright, nuzzling inbetween the books on the bookshelves in an attempt to hide from whatever was coming.
