Lilly examined the the fountain in the dark empty square. The dragon that adorned it was all too familiar to her. Having summoned one as her familiar before.....if there was one thing she knew about dragon based familiars, it was that they were dangerously prideful. Summon it against an opponent that was weak in it's eyes, and it would turn against you in an instant. You had to be very picky about when to summon one.

Lilly heard footsteps coming from behind her. She whirled around to find find Ben and Samantha running to her.

"What took you two?" said Lilly a little irritably. "I already tracked down Carter 3 minutes ago.....we have to hurry or I might accidentally burn us up during teleportation."

"Sorry." said Ben. "Ultimate Swampfire had a little play date with Brook earlier. I'll explain later."

"So where is Carter?" said Samantha.

"A little obvious, but it appears that he and Sunder are both in Ben's dimension. As to where in Ben's dimension.....well we'll just have to see where we end up."

Lilly touched a finger to the nose of the dragon fountain. "Great beast of the sky, water, and air. Grant us your luck of passage......let us find our way to the one who was lost.........give us your power!!"

The dragon statue's eyes glowed a molten gold, and suddenly Ben felt as if he was going through a giant vacuum. Sights and sounds whirled past his vision. Millions of different worlds could be seen for just an instant. Then as quick as it came, it stopped.

Ben breathed in the cold night air. He could smell gasoline, food, and all the other smells that came with a modern city. He looked around and saw some familiar looking sky scrapers. "This is.....Tokyo!"

"Strange....." said Samantha. "I thought you said a lot of the weird stuff usually happened to you in Bellwood."

"Brosche has many connections in this part of Earth 35." said Lilly. "It would make sense for them to come here......."

"Well whatever Brosche and Michael wanted with Carter." said Ben. "It must have been important if they hired Sunder. He's supposed to be the best in the bussiness. Even Vilgax hired him a few times."

"So where is Carter?"

Ben looked at the signs and immediately wished Gwen was with him. He couldn't read Japanese at all. "Ummm....I don't suppose anyone here aced their foreign dimension language class....did they?"

"I did." said Lilly. "It looks like we're in the Chuo district..."

"Oh, I remember that." said Ben. "Me and Kevin got lost here during our vacation, we ended up in some fish market."

"You two must be pretty terrible at directions." said Lilly. "Because everything within this area can be reached in at most 45 minutes."

Lilly put her hand out and chanted. "I call upon the spirit of the known and unknown, the one that sees all .....Oculus!!"

Oculus appeared, his robes billowing slightly in the wind as his eye swivled left and right. "You called M'lady?"

"Oculus...you remember Carter? I need you to find him.....he's likely within a 5 mile radius of this area."

Oculus swiveled his eye around in a 360 degree scan of the area. "Ahhh.....I see now.....Actually he's a little more then 5 miles......there are plenty of gardens surrounding the place....and a castle like structure....the sign I think, says 皇居."

Instead of saying the actual Japanese word, Oculus conjured the characters out of thin air using flaming trails.

"Oculus and over half of my familiars originated from Japan." explained Lilly, "so saying the language of their native land has a slight effect on them......here, they are known as Yokai.....Japanese spirits."
