Unexpected lost friends

Ria's Pov : It was around 6pm in the evening, my parents are dressing up, They are about to go on a dinner date, leaving me completely alone.
"have fun you two " I say, waving at them, as they get into the car.
"we will. Don't stay up late" my mom replied as they started driving off.

I decide to text Romeo. He sent me anonymous text messages yesterday, which I couldn't reply, due to the fact that I'm still not on speaking terms with him.

I put my password, unlocking my phone. I am about to open the messenger app, when this strange number calls.
I don't want to answer the phone, but I want to know who's calling.
So I answer..........
"Hello? "
A familiar voice says at the end, it belongs to a female.
"Hello, please who is this?"
"This is Emily. Emily Romirez. You know me asshole. "
"Emily???!!!! OMG is that you.. It's been so long, how did y.."

"Don't ask any questions asshole"

"still haven't gotten over the nickname, huh?"
I can't believe it, Emily, my long lost best friend. She's been my best friend since forever, before I moved here from Texas. After I moved here, I lost all contact with her. We never talked again, or wrote any letters to each other. And now, my best friend is calling, I'm speaking to her right now. I'm still in shock.

"oh, how I've missed you Ria..."
