Unexpected Rumours

As I walked into school today, I noticed a lot if eyes were fixed on me. As I passed the hallway, I heard some girls whispering to each other and laughing, pointing at me.
   
       One girl got my attention as she stood in front of me. I recognised her immediately. Kelsey Cooper.

"Hey bitch."

"Um, can I pass? I really need to get to class."

"You're not going anywhere until I'm done with you."

"What do you want?"

"Nothing much. I heard you're sleeping with Romeo, just so that you can hold the title of his girlfriend."

"What! That's not true. I've never slept with anybody. Ever."

"Well that's the rumour around school, I just wanted to confirm. Bye."

I couldn't believe what just happened. People are spreading rumours about me and Romeo. But I thought no one knew we were hanging out.

I gotta start avoiding him.
