The next morning Jacks green eyes fluttered open and he quietly looked around. He looked down at the small blonde. He chuckled a bit. She looked so peaceful when she was asleep, but when she was awake she put fear into anyone's hearts. He felt her snuggled into him having a small blush on his face.

Jack wanted to find breakfast for the two of them making sure both of their bandages were secured. His eyes furrowed in worry seeing how much Katelyn had bled over night compared to him. He quietly used what he could find around him, without moving to much to make another bandage for her.

Jack quietly bandaged her wound with a sigh. He noticed her wince a bit in her sleep. He would never do this while she was awake but he kissed her forehead. His soft blush grew a bit as he slowly tried to get up but she hugged him tighter. He chuckled more at the pout on her face and stayed down with her.

He wished he could help more. He sighed sadly and slowly wrapped his arms back around her closing his eyes. Katelyn's pout settled and she had a small smile now. Jack kept his eyes closed trying to think of something to help. He felt a strange energy and got a bit confused. He slowly opened his eyes again and noticed they were surrounded by green. He squeaked scared.

He looked at the green Aura a bit terrified. "What the...?" He noticed the plants around them growing and his wound was healing. Katelyn's was healing too. He slowly removed his bandage and gasped a bit "Holy" Suddenly a tree fell so the author didn't have to curse. (Mwehehehe) His wound was completely healed. All of the plants and everything around them grew and thrived. They were filled with life.

Jack was quite surprised. He looked down at Katelyn a bit curious. He slowly took Katelyn's bandage off and smiled happily. Her wound had healed too. She was still peacefully asleep. Jack kept her close seeing the flowers growing around them. He closed his eyes and focused a bit and the aura disappeared. With another chuckle he opened his eyes happily.

He wondered how hard she would throw him if he woke her up. He decided not to and looked around quietly. 'What can we eat here...' he thought. He hesitated a bit. He wondered if his power could reverse. If he could bring life to things could he bring death?

Of course when he tested this theory he didn't want to be anywhere near Katelyn. He could never hurt her. He nuzzled Katelyn softly and said quietly "Katelyn wake up..." she was buried in his chest but he could still hear her groan "5 more minutes..."

Jack sighed softly "Come on please...I can't move until you move.." He pouted a bit and she slowly looked up. She rubbed her eyes cutely which made him blush a bit. Her eyes focused and she smiled poking his cheek. "We should find civilization today." She slowly got up seeming to stretch happily. She yawned like a kitten.

He chuckled a bit standing up and stretching as well saying "Awww so cute..." she glared at him "Shut your mouth or I'll do it for you. Got it?" He quietly nodded and smiled growing a flower and picking it to her surprise. He put it in her hair softly and she blushed and turned away.

"W-w-what are you doing you idiot?!" She pouted and then punched his shoulder. He chuckled more holding his shoulder a bit "Ow blondie not so hard. You might hurt me" he smirked a bit and she slapped him. He let out a small laugh and quietly started to pack their stuff together. Katelyn just stood in the corner embarrassed trying to contemplate what just happened.

He smirked a bit while she was looking away. He walked up and hugged her small body to him. She got surprised and squeaked. She yelped "W-w-what do you think you're doing?!! L-let g-go of me!!" She struggled a bit against his arms and he just softly chuckled.

He kissed her forehead causing her entire face to turn red "I-I-I-I-I uh I uh umm..." He smiled more and then let go. He went back to packing up the stuff they had made happily. He heard her say from behind him "what was that?" She didn't seem particularly mad which surprised him.

He turned around and smiled "That was a hug and a kiss." She rolled her eyes "I know that smart aleck. Why did you do it?" She was blushing like crazy. He poked her nose and happily said "because I felt like it. Boop." He went back to packing and she blushed more "O-okay..." she tried not to think about it much and helped him.

He chuckled more at the fact that she had just accepted his answer. He didn't get thrown, he didn't get slapped, and he didn't get any insult or tsundere remark. He was shocked. He just gave a small smirk and looked at her red face. He winked at her. She somehow managed to blush more and her eyes widened as her thoughts immediately started to race. She quickly thought 'What in the hell does that mean?!! He's so confusing! I don't get it! What?!!!'

She bit her lip and looked down at the ground. "Ahem...so when did you find out your power? Is it like the power of nature or something? Isn't that more of a girl thing?" She teased him. He rolled his eyes "It's the power of life and I'm offended. That's a stereotype. I can't believe how judgmental you are. I thought you were better then this" he responded just to tease her a little bit by sounding completely serious and a bit mad. She squeaked shyly immediately feeling bad for what she did.

"Oh um sorry I uh-" he interrupted "I didn't know you were so obsessed with gender roles Katelyn." She got a bit flustered "I didn't mean it like that! It was a joke! I-I'm s-sorry..." He looked at her and his fake angry expression softened. "I was joking too don't worry about it" she sighed in relief and blushed a bit more relaxing a bit "Good...." He smiled and then picked up all of their materials. He noticed they were a bit heavy but he decided to ignore it.

"My power is the power of life. Not a girl thing." He chuckled softly starting to walk. Katelyn looked down in embarrassment "Sorry jack." She looked up at him and asked "do you want some help?" He looked back at her and smiled with another wink. "Nah I got it. Don't worry your pretty little head." She pouted a bit and then realized what he said squeaking. "You squeak a lot don't you. Should I call you a mouse or something. I mean. You're small, cute, and you squeak." He chuckled softly. Her eyes widened and she almost fell over. "I-I-I uh I don't know how to respond in this situation..." She awkwardly looked down as he started to follow a river he saw. "If there's water then there's civilization come on." He grabbed her hand "don't get lost." He smiled knowing she'd probably get mad.

She did her growl which he found cute but she didn't let go looking down. Jack smirked "Does somebody like me?" He teased. Katelyn angrily hit him on the back of his head. "Shut up you...llama!!!!!" He started to crack up dropping their stuff and almost falling over "Llama?!! Are you serious?!" She growled again and kicked him angrily making him almost fall in the water. "Alright alright I'll stop." He smirked "but I know you like me" she growled "Shut up or I'll make sure you can never open your mouth up again!!"

He chuckled softly "you know you don't have to threaten me all the time. There's no need to be violent sweetheart" she blushed more and growled again "and there's no need to growl" she growled more and lightly tapped him with her foot so she would be 'less violent'. She looked at him "come on...let's get going...." he picked up the stuff quietly getting up and taking her hand again. He smiled brightly "As you wish kitten." "Don't call me that!!!" She replied angrily "Someone's feeling feisty today!" He teased happily. She lightly slapped him pouting "grrrrrrr..." they walked off in an attempt to find civilization or an indication from where they were.
