It was a couple days after The Weeping Angels incident. Thankfully, everything was taken care of. As for Dr. Woof, he decided to talk to Dinah Lance, AKA Black Canary, about what happened. She was patient, kind, and understanding as she listened to what the Canine Doctor had to say. After that discussion, the two went outside. "Thanks for listening Dinah, I feel a bit better," said the Canine Doctor as he smiled. "Anytime Doctor Woof," replied Dinah as she smiled and scratched his ears. That made him feel a lot better.

The Canine Doctor walked around until he saw the memorial center for the fallen young superheroes. He saw Artemis in her Tigress outfit, unmasked, looking down at a hologram of Wally West, the first Kid Flash. He'd heard about what happened to Wally. It was heartbreaking that Artemis lost the man she loved. He was her world. "So that's how it starts," thought Dr. Woof, "the fever. The rage. Feeling of powerlessness. That turns any good person... Cruel..." Bart Allen, the new Kid Flash, was behind him in his Kid Flash suit. He cleared his throat and asked, "uh, Dr. Woof?" The Canine Doctor turned his head and looked at Bart and asked, "yes Bartholomew?" The grandson of the Scarlet Speedster blushed at being called by his real name. "I got a question for you," said Bart as he took off his mask. "Well ask away," said Dr. Woof. "So, your TARDIS... It's capable of travelling anywhere, right?" Bart asked. "Why yes," replied the dog, "it can travel through space, time, other alternate realities. I could show you numerous worlds where there are other heroes." Bart rubbed the back of his neck and asked, "would your TARDIS be capable of travelling through the Speed Force of this earth?" Dr. Woof raised his eyebrow in a pondering manner as he asked, "Speed Force? What's that?" Artemis wasn't listening. "It's kind of an afterlife for deceased speedsters," explained Bart, and the dog nodded, understanding. "I suppose there's a possibility my TARDIS could travel to this Speed Force," pondered Dr. Woof, "I mean, if I can travel to alternate earths such as yours, I could travel there... Why do you ask?" Bart Allen had gotten his attention. "I have a feeling Wally isn't dead," replied Bart, "my gut's telling me he's alive... In The Speed Force... Trapped." There was silence. Except for the soft weeping of Artemis. "Well, there's only one way to find out," said Dr. Woof, as he winked at Bart.

"You want to WHAT?!?!?!" yelled Dinah. Dr. Woof had met up with her again to talk about his plan to rescue Wally from the Speed Force. She didn't take it well. She was doing her best to NOT break into her Canary Cry. "Well, Bartholomew believes Wallace isn't dead, and I believe him," reasoned Dr. Woof. "But you've never even been to the Speed Force! Nobody has ever come to it and come back! It could potentially damage the TARDIS!" Dinah argued. She had a few valid points. "Oh come now Dinah, I'm a lover, not a fighter. And it may be worth the risk if it means succeeding in rescuing Wallace." Dr. Woof continued. "How many times is your Doctor willing to take risks?!?!?!" Dinah asked. The dog shrugged and said, "more than you think. He makes a lot of risks to save the Multiverse, regardless of whether he'll regenerate." Dinah sighed and calmed down. "Have you told anyone else yet?" asked Dinah. The Canine Doctor shook his head and answered, "as of now, not yet. I'll tell M'gann eventually. But you're the first person I've told so far. You promise not to tell anyone?" Dinah shook her head, gently putting her hand on his paw in a motherly fashion. "This conversation won't leave this room, I promise," she assured. Dr. Woof smiled. She reminded him of Rose. "Got any advice?" he asked. Dinah replied, "for one, be safe. The Speed Force is dangerous. Who knows if it causes you to regenerate? So you and M'gann be safe. And, I won't doubt you'll succeed in rescuing Wally. But if you do, contact me, and I'll tell Barry. We'll help as best we can. And good luck out there." She patted him on the head. Dr. Woof was determined to rescue Wally West.
