Chapter 12

Deadlox-

He was looking at me.He didn't care.

"No Sky I won't let you go.This is what I need to do.and me alone."

"I won't let you go alone."He said and pulled tighter.

"Your bring am idiot stop."

" I don't wanna."I took a step back and broke into run I jumped out the window and extended the wings and I let them carry me.

"TY!WAIT!"I stopped and looked back.

I flew towards him he was about to jump from 2 stories up.

"SKY!NO!"I said and lunged forward.I grabbed him and was now unfortunately holding him bridal style.I almost dropped him when I felt it.He sensed something was wrong.

"Ty what is it?"He asked and I glanced over to a nearby tree.I heard the rustling someone was there with the presence."Ty?"He asked again.

"If you want to come you better be quiet and I can't hold you everywhere. It won't be pretty either."

"Ty I don't care!"

"I do Adam!"I said and put him down on a nearby tree.I landed on the one next to it.I moved soundlessly towards the noise.

"Ty?"He whispered.I motioned for him to be quiet.He nodded.I extended a claw and he looked nervous and shook his head.He then sighed."Carry on."

I looked down and saw a girl.She had bright red hair.She wore a grey T shirt and jeans.Her shoes were purple.She also had bright blue eyes. She was looked very lively.Not for long...She lied down and closed her eyes.Sky was looking at me nervously.I flew down soundlessly.I kneeled next to the body and made a small x on the throat.She never woke up.I saw the bright flame appear around her and I stood up.I walked towards the tree Sky was in.

"Ty?What just happened?"I glanced over at the girl she had blood oozing out from her throat.

"I tried to warn you Sky."

"Sky or Adam just pick one."

"No."He shook his head.

"So should we head back Ty?"

"I don't think it's a good idea to go back so soon.We should camp here for night then move towards a town or something tomorrow."I said I then added."I'll keep watch."

"You sure Ty-"

"Adam I can't sleep at night."

"Oh."

"Sleep."I said and he curled up on the ground.I crouched on the ground next to him.He looked so peaceful when he slept.Sky had left with me odds are we weren't going to go back any time soon.

He'd wanted to come with me.I heard voices from nearby.Guards!

"Adam wake up!"I shook him hard.

"Wha.."

"We gotta move."

"Now?"

"Yes!"I said and yanked him up I extended my wings out and looked at him grinning.

"Oh no your not gonna-"

"TIME TO FLY!"I said and grabbed him and I carried him through the air.

"TY!"He shrieked but he was laughing. It was amazing though the way the wind caught in your hair.It was so much fun.

"Ty go farther down."He said gasping and I obviously forgot being an idiot Sky needed more air did me.I zipped down immediately.I stopped and let my wings flap in place.
