Chapter10

Deadlox-
I was dead.But no I was standing here right now.
"But I'm here right now!"
"Your in Limbo you idiot."
"What's limbo?"He sighed
"Limbo is what happens when you can't go to the Aether or the Nether which is more likely in your case, because you still have something you never fulfilled in life."
"So how do I die?"
"You don't"Well this is going great for me."But, you can live again."
"How?"
"You see people have this thing called life energy.It's what keeps them alive it can be transferred with a healing spell.Your body is still in good condition.It won't kill anyone if we get it done now."
"SO GO TELL THEM."
"Follow me Ty."We walked to the infirmary Sky was over the body murmuring "It will be ok Ty."
"He does know I'm dead right?"I asked Seto.
"No Ty he does but he's in so much shock he can't accept it."
"Oh."
"Seto who are you talking to?"
"No one."
"Hi Jason!"I said and Seto glared at me.
"Oh right."
"Look Sky I know how to revive deadlox."
"HE'S NOT DEAD SETO!"He screamed.Woah he was really upset.
"Do you want him back."He nodded.
"We need a volunteer to give-"
"Seto your not planning to exchange someone's life energy are you?"Jason asked.
"It's the only way."
"Who's going to do it."
Sky stood up but just as he was about to talk a familiar voice filled the room.
"I'll do it."I turned to see Mitch standing in the door way.
"Mitch no!"I screamed he was already weak.He looked at me he can see me.
"You can see me?"I asked and he nodded.
"I know what it's like to lose...lose a best friend and I'm not going to let Sky go through that."
"Mitch but in your current State you'll die-"Seto began
"No I have to do this.Perform the spell.
Mitch had to grab my hand.Seto began to chant And the room began to glow.I felt myself being pulled into something. It stopped I heard a thud and opened my eyes to see Mitch collapsed on the floor."MITCH!"I screamed.I was in my body again Thank Notch.Sky looked straight at me."TY!"Sky screamed and I felt him hug me tight."Im so happy your okay I don't know how I'd live without you."He held me tight.
"Adam?"A female voice spoke.Dawn?
"Hey...."He said nervously.
"Don't hey me what's going on we were supposed to meet an hour ago!"
"There was an accident with Ty-"
"ITS ALWAYS ABOUT TY!"She screamed at me.
"Dawn...."His voice trailed off.
"DAWN NOTHING WE'RE THROUGH ADAM!!!"She slapped his cheek and left the room.He made a sad smile and looked at me.
"Guess you were right."Dawn had just dumped him.
"Come on Sky it's ok she's not worth it."
"We were engaged you know.We were going to announce it tomorrow."He looked sad.
"Sky..."I put my hand on his shoulder.
"Ty I've gotta go.I have a meeting."He left the room.
"NO SKY PLEASE STAY."I grabbed his arm I didn't know why I did it.I just reacted.He met my gaze for that one minute then he turned and left the room.
"That was odd."Seto spoke sounding confused.
"What do you mean?"I asked
"Sky doesn't have a meeting."I got up and bolted after him.I was still dragon so I was really fast.I saw him go in his room I heard the door lock.I knocked on the door.Nothing.After a few minutes I spoke.
"Hey Adam it's me Ty can I...come in?"
I waited it took a couple minutes and just as I was about to walk away I heard the door unlock.I opened it.He was on the bed holding something small.
"What's that?"I asked.He held it up I recognised it instantly it was a small green gem.
**FLASHBACK 10 YRS AGO.**
We were in the mines again.Adam was busy aawing over gold.When I saw something green sparkle.I walked towards it it was a green gem.It was really pretty so I picked it up.
"Hey Ty what's that?!"Adam asked peering over my shoulder.
"I think its a green diamond!"
"Can I see?"I nodded he looked it over and handed it back to me.
"No you can keep it."I said giving it back to him.
"Why?"
"Because we're friends that's why!And no matter what we'll always have each other!That can be a reminder of it so when were apart you'll always have a piece of me "He smiled and laughed.
"See' ya at the exit!"He screamed and I ran after him.
**End of Cheesy flashback**
"You kept it?"I asked I was shocked we were like 7 when that happened.And he'd kept it all these years.
"Why wouldn't I?"I saw his face was wet.
"I'm really sorry Adam."I said and sat down on the bed in front of him I had my legs dangling over the edge.
"Bout what?"
"Dawn"He looked down at his bed.
"Nothing lasts forever Ty..."
"I wish we would."The words came out of my mouth before I could stop it.
"What?"He asked quite puzzled.
"We've been friends for so long, Adam I don't ever want to lose that you're my best friend I don't know what I'd do without you.I guess that's why Mitch did what he did.He understands that feeling.There's nothing quite like friendship.If I'm certain of anything in this twisted game we call life then that's it."He looked up he clutched the gem harder in his hands.He took of his sunglasses and looked up at me revealing his beautiful butter eyes.
"Ty I never want to lose it either.Our friendship is more important to me then you could ever know."The knob turned and Jason walked in.He stiff there awkwardly then spoke.
"Am I....interrupting something." Notch this was awkward.
"No Jason!Your fine!"I said breaking the silence."Sky looked at me and I shrugged.
"I actually needed to talk to Ty."I looked at the window.It was almost sunset.I walked up to Jason.
"Jason tomorrow it's getting late I was gonna head up to my room as soon as I was done talking to Sky.And it's personal so if you wouldn't mind...."
"Tomorrow no more stalling.Night guys!"He said and shut the door.I looked outside nervously.
"Look I should be going-"
"Ty."He spoke quietly.The sky was getting darker.
"Yeah."
"Ccc..can you stay just a little longer."
I looked at the window nervously.
"Errr...Sky I don't think that's a good idea."
"Please."I looked at him.He was giving me a look of pure innocence a tear was crawling down his cheek as well.I can't leave him like this.
"Sky you really don't want me in here."I turned around walked towards the door.
"Ty!What happened to your arm?" What?Oh Notch the scratch...
"What?"
"Your arm can I see it?"No getting out of this one I nodded and had out my arm to him.I turned it over so he could see.The scar was still there.
"How'd this happen?"A look of worry crossed his face.I didn't speak."Was it from the End?"He asked I stayed silent.
"Ty.What happened?"
"EndStone he scratched me-"
"Who the Nether is EndStone and why do you keep mentioning him."Don't do it.I geared EndStone hiss at the back of my mind.I felt a pain in my back not like wings but like I was stabbed.
"No one You should sleep Sky."
"Ty"
"Yeah?"
"You can tell me anything you know that right?We're friends I'd never hate you no matter what you do.I'll always trust you no matter what.I hope you know how much you mean to me."Oh Sky if only you knew what I've really done....
