chapter 11: the prisoners

Third person p.o.v

"This voice...Where's it coming from?" Ryuji said as akira, Morgana and [m/n] walked ahead and across the bridge in front of them. "Oh, is it comin' from there!?" Ryuji said as he looked through the bars across from them. [M/n] walked looked at akira then towards ryuji then walked next to him.

[M/n] widened his eyes at what he saw. The guards were slamming their spears into a bunch of teenagers as they held onto white poles as they screamed in pain. [M/n] took a step backwards and shook his vigorously then turned to look at something else.

Ryuji was angry at the sight and yelled. "Damnit! This is bullshit!" He slammed his hand against the bars. "How many times do I have to tell you to keep your voice down?" Scolded morgana as [m/n] nodded his head, agreeing with the cat.

"But this is beyond messed up!" Yelled ryuji before [m/n] slammed his hand on ryuji's mouth. "Do you want to get caught?" Asked [m/n] as he looked at ryuji dead in the eye. "Because if we do then you, morgana and akira will either be tortured or killed and I won't let that happen to any of you okay?" [M/n] said as he pulled his hand away from ryuji's mouth.

"I just don't want my friends to get hurt, that's all I want" [m/n] said while looking down and walks next to a slight shocked akira. Ryuji looked at [m/n] with wide eyes before someone spoke. "Stop it..." All eyes turned towards the teenager that walked up to them. "Leave us alone...It's useless" he whimpered. "Huh?!" Exclaimed ryuji.

Another one walked up towards the bars as he held his arm. "If we stay obedient, we won't be executed like you guys!" The other teenager yelled at them. "You're telling me you wanna stay in a place like this!?" Ryuji asked them. Morgana realized something and said. "Wait a minute...were you planning on taking these guys out of here?". Ryuji turned around to look at morgana. "We can't leave 'em here" ryuji said.

"How stupid can you be?" Morgana asked as ryuji got angry and stamped his foot on the ground. "What!?" He exclaimed. "These are only humans in komoshidas cognition. They aren't real humans that have entered from reality. They're different from you three" morgana explained.

"Cognition..?" Ryuji said. [M/n] slapped his hand against his head while groaning. "It means that there is no point in saving them! They're different from the real ones in the real world. You could say that these are extremely similar-looking dolls" morgana explained.

"The hell!? Why's it gotta be so complicated!?" Exclaimed ryuji. 'I swear that this boy's stupidity never surprises me' [m/n] thought to himself. 'I must agree with you there' agreed shiro. "So the school's a castle and the student's are slaves...it's so on point that it makes me laugh. This really is the inside of that assholes komoshidas head" ryuji said angrily.

Akira's p.o.v

Morgana jumped off of his place on the wooden crate and walked towards the bars. "Still, this is horrible. It must mean he treats them as slaves in the real world too" he said with a pained expression.

[M/n] was still standing next to me as he continued to look down with a thoughtful look. I sometimes wonder what goes on in that head of his.

I smiled warmly and placed my hand on his head, he looked up at me with a small blush that I found cute. I smirked to myself and quickly gave him a peck on the cheek before standing normally.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw [m/n] blush madly while touching the place where I placed my lips on. I quietly smirked to myself. I turned my attention towards ryuji and morgana with the picture of a blushing [m/n] in my head.

Your p.o.v

I'm blushing madly right now not because of the peck akira gave me but because kuro won't stop teasing me. 'Awww did someone get all flustered because his crush gave him a smooch on the cheek?' Kuro teased. 'N-no it's not like t-that' I stuttered in my head. Kuro continued to tease me until I blocked him out.
