Every Story Has a Beginning

My name is Jade Allan, and I'm fifteen years old living in Southern California.
I guess there is no "right" way to introduce yourself, so I'm just going to freestyle.

So Ysabela and I have been wanting to go on a ski vacation for a long time, it's a really common thing at our school to go to Utah during Winter and shred the slopes.
The only problem is that Ysabela isn't the best at saving up money... And since we are attached at the hip I've had to wait the last two years for her to save enough. If you don't know, flying Cali to Utah is not very expensive! But of course, leave it to Ysabela to make creating arrangements awkward. So this trip has been two years in the making! That's a long time for a teenager to stick to something, but we did.
Since we're tagging along with the rest of our friend group, I should probably introduce them to you as well.

Ok, so that thing I said about it just being us friends? Well my Mom doesn't trust me to travel alone, and honestly I don't trust myself either. So, my older sister Karey has to babysit us because I am like a small child.
She is Nineteen, second year at UCLA, and is the most awesome sister in the world! For doing what she is doing and just in general. Tracey and I have an extremely strong bond. I can trust her with anything, and her advice is always the best. Plus she has the advantage of having had seven boyfriends to my... Well... Zero. Oh, and ignore the hooters shirt. it's just for show, I swear!

She is Ysabela's other best friend, so my competition...
Kidding! Somewhat.
But, since Ysabela and I only met middle school and Claire and Ysabela met in Elementary, she technically was there first. But I don't mind sharing Ysabela.
I mean she's sweet, but she is very prudish. The snapback in the picture is definitely misleading. I hope that doesn't sound too mean... We'll just say she just isn't the most outgoing person and leave it there.

Everyone loves Brandon! What can I say? He's cute, athletic, funny... Well actually he is the teasing sort of funny, and he knows he's cute, but I guess somehow he gets away with it because he's Brandon.
Ok, she will kill me if she knows I told you this, but Ysabela is secretly in love with Brandon. I actually don't get it, he's really mean to girls, especially Morgan. More on her later though.
This is Jimsey King

He is Brandon's best friend. They're the boy version of Ysabela and I. He's the newest member of the group and was brought in by Benji last year, but now he's very heavily influenced by Brandon. It's awkward because it used to be Brandon and Benji that were inseparable, but then came along Jimsey and the two found each other more interesting. I think Benji is a little jealous of them...

He's the guy by the way to avoid confusion. Like I said, he was the mutual friend of Brandon and Jimsey and got cut. But it's not all them, he's going out with a girl called Alice and lately, that's where all his time goes to. Benji is really into making movies and... I don't know, we don't talk much anymore. He's a little bit douchey but it seems like it's a front so people will like him. He's a good guy.
