*Your POV*
His eyes are so dark, like a deep abyss you see yourself falling into. His hair, spiked up and pushed to the side; it looks so soft without product- and his smile that'll make his cheeks perk out. His complexion is so smooth, I want to run my fingers down his jawline. Evan Fong..
I doodled onto my class assignment for math his name in beautiful cursive with a heart around all sides on the top corner of the page. I hate to admit, but I'm swooning over this guy. I would have to force myself to focus in class. Since it was silent and we were working by ourselves in class, I doodled and hummed a soft piano tune on my paper.
"Okay class, you can pair up now." Our math teacher's groggy voice calls; tons of students move their desks towards each other and some walk across the room to sit next to their friends to work alongside, but I had none so I kept to myself.
"Want to work together?" Another one of Evan's friend pulls his desk up to mine. I frantically cover my paper and nervously smile.
"Y-You sure?" I question him; his friend, Craig was a nice and funny guy to talk to, but I try not to socialize in general. At this school, seems like I've gotten way more attention than I have ever. It's hard to get used to, but I know they won't stop.
He nods as a reply, sitting down at his desk. He notices my hand covering the top corner, so he asks me about it.
"What're you hiding?" He chuckles, but I stutter out a response.
"J-Just drawing on my page is all." It wasn't a lie, but I didn't want to show him. I then decide to rip off the corner and shove it in my pocket. He shrugs to himself and doesn't question me anymore about it.

Climbing back onto the bus, I sit in the seat in front of Tyler, since the person who sat there initially moved out of state- from what I've been hearing. I sit my bag down next to me on the seat as I inch closer to the window. From the school bus window I see Evan and his friend, Marcel sneaking out from the bus lot and into their cars. (we had a rule that people weren't allowed outside the building/perimeter until busses are dismissed) I scoff and shake my head, I knew he was up to something.
"Evan's having a party at his place tonight, you coming?" Tyler whispers toward me through the small crack in the seat. I turn my head and sit up, looking behind me at Tyler.
"What makes you think I would go to a party, let alone- Evan's?" I answer his question with my own. He thinks to himself for a second before speaking back up.
"Well, a lot of people will be there!"
"I hate the presence of people and parties, I'll pass." I don't give him time to attempt to persuade me. Instead I plug in my earbuds and listen to some music to block him out. The bus ride home wasn't that bad, though I will say I'm not fond of the disrespectful children jumping out of their seats and throwing things on the bus.
The bus stops at my house. I stand up and walk through the crowded bus walk to politely wave at the bus driver while I hopped down off the dusty stairs. The creak of the school bus doors closing echoed with the sound of a gust of wind as it drove off. I walked inside, laying my bag down on the kitchen table. My mom was cooking dinner in her stained apron.
"How was school?" As if every parents asks their high schooler.
"Just like I'd imagine high school." I reply with a witty response. She turns around to stop cutting up raw chicken to quickly wipe off her hands and wrap me in an awkward hug.
"Look at my growing girl, daddy would be so proud." I haven't heard her talk about dad in two years. It sounds unnatural coming from her. I pull out of her mother baring arms.
