*Your POV*
Finally the weekend!
I slept in till noon, where Luna decided it would be a perfect time to meow and get my attention from the foot of my bed. It took me awhile before I actually force myself to wake up. Feeding and refilling Luna's water bowl, I slip into the bathroom to shower. After showering, I put on an over-sized jumper and some soft leggings and lay back down in my bed.
"Y/n, do you want breakfast?" My mom called from the kitchen.
"I'll come eat in a second!" I reply to her, putting on my giant frames and fixing my hair before walking downstairs.
*Evan's POV*
It felt like time began to slowly stop around us as she inched herself closer to me. I slowly looked down at her with the biggest grin on my face; she looked so beautiful tonight. Her small and soft hands trailed up my chest and gently grazed my jacket, fixing the rough edges sticking out. My hands began to hover over hers- I hesitated for a moment, then taking her by the hands. We both said nothing as we looked longingly into each other's eyes. I inch my face closer to hers until...
"EVAN, YOUR FRIENDS ARE DOWNSTAIRS WAITING FOR YOU!"
I jolt awake, not realizing I dreamt about last night. I felt my heart racing out of my chest; I call back to my mom.
"I'M COMING. LET ME GET DRESSED." I shouted back at her, throwing on some pants and a muscle shirt and rushing down the stairs to greet Jonathan, Tyler, and Lui. Lui was petting my mom's dog while Jonathan and Tyler were talking to her. I clear my throat to get everyone's attention.
"I heard about your new girlfriend honey!" My mom smiles widely, having her chubby cheeks cover her small eyes. I roll my eyes and glare at the idiots who were laughing to themselves.
"She's not my girlfriend, she's my friend of the opposite gender." I clarified; I then thought about last night, before drunk Lui and Nogla had to ruin the moment- we would've kissed. Having that cloud my thoughts made my face heat up.
"Call her whatever you want, but you almost kissed her last night so.." Lui shrugged with his squeaker voice giggle to follow behind.
I pushed all my friend's out the door, quickly shutting the front door behind me, "What the fuck guys, don't tell my mom about Y/n! We're not dating, and I wouldn't ever date her- she's too good and sweet for me." I crossed my arms, with a sarcastic smile plastered on. The three guys looked at each other and then back at me.
"Mhmm, that's not what you were telling me last night. You're always up her ass, dying for her to pay attention to you. The way you look at each other is like, sexual tension. It's killing us, just fucking date her already! Admit it, you're in love with a good girl!" Delirious chuckles loudly as we all hopped into his car.
"He's right, you don't realize how different you act around her. You're the absolute opposite than how you are around us, and it's weird to see you act so strange. But love can change people I guess." Wildcat followed after Delirious; I sighed and looked out the window.
"I'm still the same guy, guys!" I defended myself, "The baddest guy in Xena. The heart-breaker, the bully and the bad guy! C'mon guys, I'm still the same ol' Vanoss!" Lui smirked, leaning against the passenger seat where I sat, "Face it Vanoss, you like her."
My heart pounded heavily inside my chest again; thoughts jumbled in my mind with Y/n. Her smile, her eyes, her lips, her touch, her laugh, her sarcastic and witty jokes and comments, her hair, her kindness, her intelligence, her compassion for others... Her face was stained into my memory- she was stuck in my mind since she first walked into my first period. Maybe they're right?
