Okay I know this book hasn't gotten many reads but I'm still really proud that over night I get like 5 and comments and votes

I'm abandoning the schedule this week as you may already know and just updating whenever I can. I'm going on a trip Thursday-Sunday with my boy so I'll be pretty busy.

Also I love Jeydon so I don't mean to make him out like this it's just a book my dudes :)

"Don't worry Hope I'll be back in a few months, permanently. " Kyle held her face, wiping away the tears that would roll down occasionally with his thumb.

Hope laughed halfheartedly and held both of his wrists. "I know but it's going to suck being alone. "

"Jeydon is staying for a while longer, same with jordan and shannon. Plus Alex and Johnnie live here so you can see them whenever. " Kyle let go of her face and laced their fingers together. "You'll be fine I promise. "

"Yeah I know, but they aren't you Kyle. " She lowered her voice and squeezed his hand.

"You can always call me Hope, you have a phone. " He let go of one of her hands and grabbed his suitcase handle. "I should go. "

She squeezed his hand tighter and frowned. "No. "

Kyle laughed and pulled his hand away, returning it to his side successfully this time. "The plane won't wait for me. I'm sorry. I'll text you when I land-

"Call. "

"I'll call you when I land. " He chuckled and waved goodbye to everyone else. "Goodbye Hope. "

She looked down and closed her eyes, the corners of her lips lowering. Her bottom lip trembled as she watched him walk towards boarding. "Ughhhhh. " she groaned and turned around.

Jeydon smiled at her, moving towards her and pulling her into a hug. "Don't worry, he'll be back soon. For now you're stuck with me, though. "

She nodded and pulled away from him. "I think we should go. "

"You don't want to watch the plane take off?" Everyone but Jeydon was already walking towards the exit.

"No. It's okay. " Jeydon wrapped his arm around her shoulder and led her out.

Jeydon loved Kyle like a brother, yes, that was obvious, but him leaving actually mad him really happy. It meant he would be spending more time with Hope.

He would be the one she called when she had nightmares or when she needed someone to comfort her. They would go on walks in the rain and get breakfast soaking wet.

Or at least, that's what he hoped would happen.

Jeydon knew that Kyle would forever hold a special place in her heart, a place Jeydon would probably never get to reach, but he also knew that Kyle told her that she had him.

Kyle pulled Jeydon aside the night before he left, making him promise one simple thing.

"Keep her safe. "

And he promised. With no hesitation.

His feelings for Hope only have grown since the day he went with her to Onic's. And now that Kyle was gone, he was planning on making a move. All her and Kyle did was kiss that day, they didn't make anything official so he wouldn't be breaking any bro rules.

Jeydon kept his phone up all the way the entire night, expecting a call from her late at night, begging him to come over and hold her until she falls asleep
