After she left, I decided that I wasn't really feeling social anymore, so I locked myself in Johnnies room and laid on the floor.

I don't understand why I thought it was a good idea to force her to talk to me. To force her to be alone with me. I went to fast and I probably ruined any chance of us even being just friends again.

When everyone got back home, I still wasn't feeling up to talking, so I just stayed in the dark room and continued to scold myself for being so stupid.

"Kackle?" Jeydon called from outside the door, and not even a second later he knocked.

"Yes Jeydon?"

"We are back. Is Hope in there with you?"

"No she went back to her apartment. " I bit my tongue.

"Are you okay? Can I come in?" He wiggled the handle then sighed. "Never mind. I'm guessing you need some time alone. When you are ready to come out, I'll be here for you to talk to. "

I thanked him quietly, listening to him walk away before sighing and sitting up. It was getting quite dark outside so I moved over to the window and looked outside.

Once I was far enough from the door, I lowered my voice and whispered to the entire group, "Kyle locked himself in the room. Apparently Hope went home. Something is up. "

Johnnie and Alex looked at each other, each with equally worried looks on their faces. Shannon and Jordan looked concerned too, but they didn't look like them.

"Johnnie, Alex, what's with the look?"

"This isn't what we thought would happen. " Alex spoke up, and Johnnie nodded.

"What do you mean?" Shannon asked, obviously confused.

"Well, you can't tell Kyle we told you. He'd kill us. " johnnie started. We all nodded, and he continued, "Hope and Kyle dated a while ago, and it was really serious, but it didn't end on a good note. "

"How so?" I asked.

"He cheated on her on accident. He explained it all and yes, it was an honest mistake. "

"Well, if he explained it why did it end on a bad note?" Jordan put his pizza down.

"Because he never explained it to her. She walked away before he could. Today, though, the plan was for us to leave them alone so that he could. But it obviously didn't go how we'd hoped. "

"You really expected for her to just be okay being alone with him? The relationship obviously scarred her if she needed to leave. " I ranted. "You guys, that's wasn't a good idea. I'm going to go check on her. "

I stood, leaving the four of them and going out the door and into the hallway. I hope that she wouldn't be weirded out by this. I just needed to apologize for what they made her go through.

Once I got to the door, I knocked three times, trying to be gentle. I stood for a few seconds before the door opened just a crack. I couldn't see her, but I knew she was there because why else would the door open.

"Hi hope. I just came to say that I'm sorry for what happened. I had no clue they were going to do that to you. "

There was a few seconds of silence before the door opened the rest of the way, revealing her. Her eyes were red, and I got extremely angry suddenly.

"It's okay Jeydon. That wasn't your fault. It was mine. I should have just left when I realized what was happening. I could have saved myself from a lot of suffering. " she crossed her arms and looked down.

"No, it's not your fault. They knew how you reacted to just looking at him. They can't expect you to just be chill with the person who cheated on you. "

"Jeydon, honestly, it's okay. He explained what happened and I believe him. "

"Just because he explained doesn't mean it didn't happen. " I sighed and put my hands on her shoulders. "He still did stuff with another girl, even if it was an accident. "

She shrugged and looked up and into my eyes. "I appreciate you coming by Jeydon, but it isn't your fault. Don't apologize for things you can't help. "

"Well I'm sorry that this happened, and just incase you need someone to talk to I'm here for you. " I pulled my phone out of my back pocket,opening it for her to put her number in. "Here, you can text me. "

She took it in her shaky hands, slowly filling out all of the information. She handed it back to me and smiled slightly. "Thank you. "

I nodded. "Well, I'm going to head back. Text me if you need anything. " I smiled and walked away.
