Cassian had refused to let go of Rita as they continued to voyage throughout the city trying to find a way elsewhere.

Rita would always turn around to make sure Jyn didn't stray, and realized that she was still right there by her side.

As the three were running, something eventually caught Rita's attention. It was a trooper that was now standing in the middle of an open area, beginning to speak.

"Cassian Stop. Wait." Rita spoke quickly, pulling him back stopping him from being revealed, and paying attention to the troopers that were now speaking aloud. The storm trooper spoke while he held his weapon high noticing the fear he caused the surrounding people.

"Citizens of the empire. Imperial forces tirelessly fight Saw Gerrera's reign of terror over the people of this beloved city." The male officer said as him and the other troopers moved throughout the city.

"Move slowly." Cassian whispered beginning to step out now blending with the crowds. Rita took a few steps noticing Cassian and Jyn continuing forwards, but she was stuck listening to the words the Empire spoke of.
Jyn on the other hand looked elsewhere noticing that they weren't the only ones blending in with the crowds.

Looking up in front of her, she soon noticed that there was a man sneaking around in the sea of people, and in his hand was a blaster, ready to be fired.

"Rita we really shouldn't stand here." Cassian noticed the man as well that had begun to raise his blaster up higher. Going to grab Rita, her eyes immediately looked forward as well.

"Cassian-" Rita spoke trying to understand but was unable to finish. Suddenly an explosion went off causing the three rebels to jolt forward trying to regain their footing.

Rita looked up to see the sudden flames appear from the explosion that just went off. All that was left were the charred vehicles the Empire arrived in.

"Move! Let's go!" Cassian yelled dragging Rita and Jyn into the shadows of a tunnel as many unknown soldiers opened fire at the empire. Rita and the others hid along the wall pulling out weapons in case the fight came to them.

"They're Saw's Rebels." Jyn spoke more towards herself readying her blaster. As Rita was patrolling the area, looking for the best place to begin the attack, she noticed a child in the middle of the battle sitting on the ground.

Her screams were loud as the young child cried looking around for her parents. Amara soon came to mind. The thought of Amara looking for her missing child only to realize she was dead.

Rita shuddered at the thought trying not to think of the woman she used to know. She didn't want to. She couldn't.

Rita readied herself to run out. But she realized that Jyn who was in front of her also saw the child, and was ready to sprint out.
