SEVEN

[Yavin 4]

Once the team arrived back on Yavin 4, Rita was rushed inside to get to medical. After everything had happened and she turned away from Cassian, is when everything went black.

Her eyes flickered slightly to see the bright lights that shines before her, and her body ached as the ship shook from landing. She could also hear the murmurs of distant rebels on Yavin, wondering what had happened to Rita.

When they tried to run up to her, Cassian stopped them allowing for the medics to get to her and move her to a safer place. Her body was lifted on the gurney and immediately rushed elsewhere, but people wanted answers.

As soon as she was safely in a medical room, the droid assigned to her quickly assessed the damage to her wound. Scanning her leg, multiple burns were seen, with much of the skin on her completely burned off. The only thing stopping her from screaming was the fact that she was seemingly unconscious.

Grabbing a needle, the droid then got to work, not allowing anyone to come inside while they were working, knowing that Rita would probably yell out eventually.

She remained silent for a while, but her screams were building up from the pain, and eventually she couldn't contain it anymore as her yells were heard frightening anyone that was in range of them.

Rita's eyes flickered open soon allowing in the bright white light, and when she looked down, she noticed that her pant legs were cut to have access to her wounds that were now bandaged up just as her abdomen was.

Her vision was blurry as she tried to regain focus and figure out where she was. A few more seconds went by to where she could finally tell that she was on Yavin once again, relief flowing through her.

She sighed out in annoyance soon after trying to shift, only feeling pain with each passing second. When she raised her hands to her face she could feel the tears that had fell from when she was being worked on. She grunted out continuing to slowly move, but froze as soon as she heard the door being opened.

Allowing herself to rest, she quickly and shakily looked up to see who was about to walk inside the door. It didn't take her long to see that it was Cassian. He walked in slowly, only looking towards the ground.

Rita's eyes quickly looked him up and down watching as he came in. The medical droid noticed the visitors appearance as well, going towards him and beginning to question him.

"How May I assist you Cassian Andor?" The robotic voice echoed through the room.

"How is she?" Cassian wondered going from the floor, to look back up at the woman he was asking about. He noticed her eyes were opened and after looking for a moment, saw that her eyes met his own.
