[Scarif]

"Why did Vader send me here?" That was the main thing Amara wondered. Of course her attention was grabbed when Krennic informed her that a jedi named Rita Edmond had made her appearance known. But that only made her even more curious. It made her think...Would Rita really be foolish enough to show up on Scarif and think of stealing such plans.

Glancing up at Director Krennic, Amara felt immediate annoyance. He marched around acting as if he was controlling everything, but she knew he wasn't doing that. Amara believed Krennic didn't even think there was a threat out there.

Everyone was only acting this way because she was here. All uptight and as if they were a perfect faction. But it was a lie. They all knew that if they acted a specific way then they wouldn't have to deal with her.

They were afraid of her lashing out. They knew why she could truly do.

Lord Argus' hands soon grazed over her lightsaber, her eyes following now staring at the sabers intricate design. Each piece caught her eye as she tried to make time go by faster.

This saber was very different from the one she had carried years ago, yet it was now the one that she had grown accustomed to. She made this as her entry way towards the Empire. A sad time in her opinion, but apparently her only option at the time.

Breathing out she soon rose to her feet now walking over to the shuttles window looking out at the planet's atmosphere that they were beginning to enter. Thinking too much of the past infuriated her.

She could feel the eyes of others on the shuttle, watching her closely. Especially Director Krennic. She could feel him staring deeply at her. He was watching her every move. She continued to move slowly, raising her hand to touch the window that revealed the beautiful planet surrounded by water.

She watched intently at the planet below noticing that the sandy beaches were soon being seen clearly. Even the water was amazingly clear. She remembered when she was young and on Tatooine as a slave, water as clear as that down below wasn't heard of.

"It's beautiful here." She spoke to herself continuing to touch the glass, wishing to be down there.

She then saw a large building in the middle of the island they were to be near. It seemed like an important building. Importance.

"Director Krennic?" Amara continued to stare at the building before turning towards the gray haired man, his eyes intently staring at her.

"Yes, my lord?" He spoke carefully. When he looked into her eyes, he didn't sense any true emotions. But he could see darkness.

"Why do you wish to earn the Emperors favor. Is it because of power or because you want to be recognized?" Amara wondered, a look of pure curiosity on her face.

"As Director of the advanced weapons research, I believe being recognized for my ideas will push the empire further." Director Krennic spoke passionately.
