13~Familiar Faces

Everest's POV

My body froze like ice. My cheeks flushed. I stared at him with wide eyes, expression a bit stunned still. His remained like hard stone, serious with a mixer of disappointment. "Niall, please, I beg you, please don't tell him!" I beg, clasping my hands together, adrenaline rushing through my body.

"Why shouldn't I?" He asked coldly, arms crossed over his chest and eyes cut. "You read a journal filled with his personal life. You broke his trust, and you broke ours."

I let out heavily sigh, my mouth then tasted bitter and my heart sank deep into the pit of my stomach. "Niall, I'm sorry. I swear, I will do whatever you want. Harry and I's trust means everything to me, you've got to believe me. If you tell him, he would be mortified. Harry is my everything, I care about him so much. I would hate to leave him now when he needs me more than anything!" I admitted, as he chewed on his lower lip in deep thought. "So please, Niall, please don't tell."

His eyes snap away from mine, his baby blue eyes staring off into the distance, like he was still absorbing every word I said. He let out a deep sigh and made eye contact with me once again, his features remain like stone.

"Fine. I won't tell," he said bitterly, clenching and unclenching his jaw. "But just to let ya know before ahead-of-time, the next time I see you snooping around his personal belongings, I will tell him and I will make sure you're out of the picture. For good. He's been hurt enough, I don't wanna see him get hurt anymore. Do I make myself clear?" He spoke harshly. It startled me a bit the way he spoke to me. I have never seen this side of him. I never knew he could get this angry. Niall struck me as the type of person who was always happy and carefree. But this side of Niall, is a side of Niall I never knew existed.

I make eye contact with him and simply nod, quickly fleeing from the area and shutting the front door behind me. My heart is racing and my palms are sweaty.

The drive to the studio seems like hours as I keep on driving down freeways and on random roads. I feel like I'm going to wreck as many thoughts rush through my mind like a gust of wind.

"FREAK!" (~A/N~ sorry guys, not much of a curser. no h8 please!:)) I shout out loud in my empty car, pulling up to a stop light and slamming my hands down on the steering wheel in frustration. How could Niall treat me this way? Honestly, after everything I've done for them, he repays me by basically blackmailing me? I understand they're like brothers, and I'm just a girl he barely knows, but I'm only trying to help him. In any way possible, even if it means to going through his personal things.

Our trust is definitely at stake.

I already worry about Harry and I's trust, and now I have to worry about Niall and I's trust. What a non-humorous joke this all is.

"Cut, cut!" Joseph, one of the directors, shouts, waving his arms to stop the camera man from filming any further. "Everest, hon, c'mon, show some emotion, show some feeling! You look off your game today, what's up?"

I lick my glossy red lips. "I know, I know, I'm sorry," I apologize. "I've just," I pause for a sigh. "I've just been dealing with a lot lately."

He nods understating. "It's okay, Everest. How 'bout we take five to freshin' up, and restart with that last scene, okay?"

I nod, smiling thankfully. He gives me a wide smile before walking away, conversing with the other two directors and a couple of producers I know.

"Everything okay, baby?" Britne asks me, slinging her arm around my shoulders. I nod.
