Everest's POV

I tug on a pair of white Converse as fast as I could, running out of my room a minute later wearing a simple faded out Arctic Monkeys t-shirt and blue jean shorts. My hair's a mess but I don't care. I quickly grab my leather shoulder purse and come to a halt in the kitchen where my aunt is, her expression completely shocked and confused as ever.

"I need to go!" I pant, nearly out of breath. "I'll ask you my question later. The guys can't find Harry and they don't know where he is. But I think I do, so I need to go!"

"Whoa, whoa, Everest," my aunt calmly says, a small smile forming on her lips. "Hon, I understand. I know this is important and this might good for you to see Harry again." She smirks. "Now go find him before you lose it." She chuckles.

Trust me, I already have.

"Thank you," I sincerely say to her almost in a whisper, then jog to the front door.

"Be back for supper, though!" She hollers to me just as I stepped one foot out of the door.

"I promise!" I yell back, shutting the door behind me.

I don't know what I'm feeling right now. Actually, I don't know what to feel, honestly! Scared, upset, anxious, angry, all of the above? Which one!? I'm about to go see the boy with wild chocolate curls, the boy who most likely has purple streaks underneath his gorgeous emerald eyes, the boy who has too many tattoos to count, the boy who only wears black skinny jeans and boots on a daily basis, the boy with the cutest dimples, the boy I have grown to love.

I tighten my grip around the steering wheel even tighter to the point where my knuckles are snow white, my forehead creased with worry and uncertainty.

'Focus, Everest' I remind myself, just when my eyes began to drift away from the rode and into my tangled thoughts. 'Keep your eyes on the rode'

I take my own advice and blink several times for my eyes to readjust, now realizing I'm driving under the speed limit. I then fix my eyes on the light ahead of me as it flashes red. I slowly lower my foot on the break, letting out a long sigh. I rub my tired eyes in little circles, wondering if I too have purple bags under my eyes. I bet I do, I haven't exactly slept 'like a baby' in the past few days. With so much happening and with so many things running through my head I haven't been able to sleep like I used to, peacefully.

If Harry just so happens to be there like I predict him to be, what am I going to do? What am I going to say? I don't want it to be awkward or anything. I want us to talk like we used to, like friends who could tell each other anything. Maybe even more than friends. Well if anything, I want us to be friends again. Well, ugh! I mean, we are friends, just friends taking a break from each other. A very long, depressing break...

Suddenly, I hear the sound of people honking their horns from behind me, signaling me that the light has turned green and has been for a few seconds. I blink my eyes ferociously, turning my head around.

"Oh, shut up!" I irritatedly say while rolling my eyes, knowing they can't hear me. Now having fully returned back to reality, I press my foot onto the accelerator, driving towards my destination.

The grass seems to have grown taller since the last time I've been here, which was in the beginning of June. I don't know why I haven't been here in so long, though, with all the stress and heartbreaks I've been through recently. And still, no one has bought the land and it's so beautiful and huge, how could no one want it?
