18~Beach Bums
Everest's POV
"Took you guys long enough?!" Liam huffs, the boys filing in in the back seat of Harry's large Range Rover. I remained seated in the passengers seat.
"Hey, a girl's gotta be prepared!" I say, raising my arms up defensively. Zayn and Niall pack the last of the supplies we needed in the back trunk, and climbed in the backseat with the rest if the boys.
"Everyone ready?" Harry asks from the drivers seat, turning his head around to face the four boys. They all nod their heads simultaneously, glancing at each other as they nodded.
"Let's go already!" Louis whined, adding a huff at the end.
"Calm ya tits down, Tomlinson!" Harry said slightly annoyed, but teasingly. "Alright, let's go!" The boys and I cheer as Harry backed out of the driveway, heading down the hill to the main rode. Niall seemed to have lightened up a bit since I left. Me and Niall are so awkward around each other, it's been affecting our friendship, or whatever we have. Ever since the day he had caught me reading Harry's journal, we've never been the same. I wish he could just let it go, this has gone on far too long.
"Turn the music up, please, Ms. Everest." Zayn politely orders, pointing towards the radio. I smile at his politeness, nodding, and reach for the power button. Perrie, I'm pretty sure that's her name, is one lucky girl. As soon as I pressed the button, I immediately recognized the song that blared from the speakers, the bass of the car vibrating from the songs familiar beats.
I face-palmed and let out a long sigh.
"'I'm so fancy, you already knooow!'" Louis sang loudly, in his high-pitched, British accent.
"'I'm in the fast lane, from LA to Tokyo!'" Zayn joins in, singing along with Louis.
"'I'm so fancy, can't ya taste this gold!'" Louis, Zayn, and Liam, even Niall, sang all together very loudly, causing me to burst with laughter. "'Remember my name, 'bout
blow-oh-oh-oh-oh!'"
They sang all the way down to a very packed beach Harry had told us about, and yes, I recorded the whole thing on camera. It looks as if there's nowhere to even lay down to tan, it's that crowded . I gape at the sight as Harry drove down a small, sandy hill into a packed parking lot.
The water glistens from the bright sun rays that flash down upon the oceans surface, beading the ocean with shimmering sparkles. Grainy sand swirl in mini twisters from the light breeze, then disappear into thin air as if they never happened. It's the perfect day to be out.
Harry finally manages to find a parking spot which seemed like years. It's a fair walk, but not too far. Everyone jumps out as soon as Harry put the gear into Park. I was actually the first to jump out. I grab my backpack and sling it over my shoulder, walking to the back of the car where the rest of the boys were starting to unload there belongings. Niall pulls out a large guitar case, while Louis pulls out several towels, and Liam slings a backpack around his back that probably contained the boy's supplies.
All of a sudden, Louis runs past me to the front of the car, spreading his arms out wide, and shouts,
"WE'RE AT THE BEACH BISSSHH!!!"
"Louis! Shhhh!" I shush him loudly, running up behind him and clamping my hand over his mouth completely. "Do you wanna get mobbed by a bunch of screaming fans?!" I exasperate. I was about to let go, when all of a sudden, I felt the palm of my hand become slobbery. I squirm away from the Doncaster boy, disgusted.
