Din stopped dancing and the crowd roared with cheers. "Now, is there anyone in the audience who would like to dance with Din?" The host let Din look through the crowd. A bunch of people raised there hands, and even tried to grab her from the stage.
She pulled back, and scanned the front and middle row. She then looked in way, way back, and held her hand out to Link.
"All right, you lucky fellow! Get on the stage!" Link snapped out of his imagination, seeing everybody staring at him with Din holding out her hand. He nervously walked over to Din, and she reached out both of her hands.
Link felt something strange when he almost touched Din's hands. "Uh... wh-wh-whoa!" He turned around and ran off. People stared as Link ran into the distance. "What the?!" "Ha! He's still just a kid! What a waste!"
Din smiled, as Link ran further away, eventually disappearing from sight.
Where do the changing seasons come from? From her flickering fingertips... or the gaze of her fiery eyes captive in less than an instant?
Link heavily breathed, as he ducked under a low branch. The branch snapped, and Link fell to the ground with the branch in his hand. "Rats!! I'm so embarrassed! Why did I run away? Darn it!"
Link sat up, his entire face red. "I've never seen such a pretty woman... there's no one like that back in the village. She's like a flower... or a sun fairy... I had the chance to hold her delicate hand! I'M SUCH AN IDIOT!"
The people on the cliff looked down at Link, turning the horse to his way. "Insolent FOOL!" "Huh?" The men came down and confronted Link. "S-Sorry! I was blowing off some steam. I didn't mean to–" "Kill him." One of them pulled out a sword.
Link stumbled back. "Wh... what did it do that for?! I was in the middle of apologizing!"
"No! There is no mercy for ANYONE who gets in my way. Not even a single ant!" Link held a fist as pointed at the men. "What a jerk! Why're you wearing a KNIGHT's armor? A REAL knight protects the weak against bullies like you!!"
