"Ricky, let me outta here!!"
Ricky punched monsters. "I'm in the zone! Serial tornado punches!!" Tornados struck monsters.
Maple, forgetting why she came along with Link in the first place, came back, and kicked a bug. "Ew!"
She saw something rolling on a rock. "Gasp! The Rod of Seasons!! Link must have dropped it in confusion!! Lucky me!!" She snatched up the Rod and flew off. She looked back, seeing Ricky being cornered by a dragon. "..."
Ricky punched the fire, reflecting it. Maple kept flying away.
Ricky smacked against a wall, and didn't move. Inside his pouch, Link escaped. "Ricky! Speak to me!"
Something exploded out of the rocks. A giant bear stomped down. "You dudes are noisy!"
Ricky looked at the bear. "Moosh! Were you hibernating here? You're just in time, you can give us a lift!"
After some arguments, Link and Ricky climbed on Moosh, as he flapped his little wings. They escaped the monsters. Until, Link realized.
"Ricky, where's Maple?"
"I think she ran far away..."
"WITH the Rod of Seasons?!"
"Errrr..."
They arrived near the castle. Link got dropped off on the roof. "Ricky, you said here!"
"Good luck, Link!"
The Twinrova watched Link. "He's a lucky little twerp. But not for much longer."
Link entered the castle. A giant spiky ball appeared, and nearly crushed Link. Link stepped back. Onox confronted Link.
"You're here at last, boy."
"Onox! You monster! You've ruined this land! It was alive... home to people and plants and animals! Now it's a wasteland!"
"Wonderful, isn't it? Now it's YOUR turn to face my power of darkness!!"Link dodged the ball, as Onox blocked some of Link's strikes. Onox swung the ball around...
Link took the chance. "There's an opening!!"
"I see your skills have improved... but can you overcome THIS?!" Onox left a huge opening, as his hand started glowing.
Link charged, jumping up and striking Ono—
Din screamed.
"Still want to fight? You'll have to destroy my shield!"
"D... Din! Onox, you coward!!"
Maple happily went on her way, holding the Rod of Seasons. "With the Rod of Seasons in my hands... I'm truly a great witch! Hmmm, I wonder if those guys got out okay? What does it matter, really? They've got nothing to do with me. Whatever! I'm going home!"
Her broom stopped, then started to go backward, very fast. "Hey!! W-Why'd my broom going backwards?!"
She sped off into the distance. "OBEY ME!!!"
Link fell to the ground. Each time he went to attack, Din's crystal would appear in front of him, making him pause. "Tiring out, little boy?"
KRASH!!!
Something crashed through the window and landed in front of Link. Maple!
"Maple?! You came back to help!"
Maple frantically checked her surroundings. "I, uh, took a wrong turn getting here, that's all!"
A spiky ball landed near them.
Maple held on to her hat, and the Rod. "Some big shot hero you are... you're losing!"
Link avoided the ball. "Onox is using Din as a shield, so I can't attack!"
Maple paused. "He... he's doing WHAT?! Fight fair, cone head! You're giving evil a bad rep!!" She aimed the Rod of Seasons at Din. It pulled. Din came flying to the Rod.
"What are you doing?!"
"The Rod of Seasons and Din are drawn to each other!!"
Maple carried Din away. "Great work, Maple!"
"Heh... heh heh heh... you think this is better for you? Wait until you see me unleash my true power..."
