Chinatsu: Both Ninja and Wizard

Ch. 10

Chinatsu's POV

I sluggishly walked to the academy where the teams are going to be said. Last night I practiced on controlling my fire in the woods, which didn't go too well. It took a full three hours to make it appear on demand, which was boring. Another five hours go by and with the now clearing burnt away I managed to only make it shoot out of one of my fingers. It seems like a big step but I know that it's the smallest step since I turned my whole body into fire that one time against that old looking guy Kakashi.

At least I'm making it in time though. Last night I fell asleep in the woods and I had to go back home and get ready. I had my usual attire on instead of having the scarf around my chest it was around my head. I had a dark blue tank top on. Which I guess wasn't a good idea since it was scorching hot outside. I swear it wasn't like this yesterday. 

I return back to reality and open the door to the academy, being greeted by cool air, which seemed to wake me up only a little. I didn't look at the girl behind a desk who greeted me good morning and continued my way to my class. I staggered a bit, holding onto the wall to keep my balance. Passing a few more doors with their own classes going on, I make it to mine. I herd chattering from inside but when I opened the door and walked through, it stopped. I didn't care though, I'm too tired to. 

I find the closest seat, which was by the door, and sat down. Once I sat down, my head hit the desk and I was out like a light. 

Third POV

Once Chinatsu opened the door everyone froze. Naruto who was on the floor with a bump on his head, looked confused. 

"It's her, the fire monster from yesterday!" A girl says, terrified. Chinatsu sat in one of the seats and passed out on the table. The guy that sat next to her jumped away along with the two people behind her, sitting in the way back. Everyone seemed terrified besides the two people in the next seat.

"Fire monster?" Naruto questioned, sitting down in a chair now. Sakura looked over at him and nodded. "Yea, yesterday she was covered in flames! Her eyes were red and everything, it was like something out of a horror movie!"

"She yelled at a lady and I herd she gave her a 3rd degree burn!" Another yelled. The others nodding in agreement. Naruto was shocked, he knew about all this fire stuff, but he didn't know she would lash out on someone like that. She's not the type to do that, only if she had a reason too. 

He stood up from seat and made his way down the stairs. He passed a guy who was talking to his friend. "She's a monster! Why would Hokage-sama even let her become a ninja?" He says, crossing his arms. Naruto let his anger out and punched the guy in the face. Everyone who watched was surprised by Naruto. Kiba looked behind him who was one seat in front of the scene. 

Naruto ignored everyone, especially the guy he punched and now shouting at him, as he made his way to Chinatsu.  He put a smile on and poked Chinatsus face. "Hey! Chinatsu! Wake up!" He say, shouting as loud as he can. Everyone who was scared, whisper shouted at him. "Are you crazy?! She'll kill you!" Ino shouts. Naruto's eye shadowed and froze in place. He looked up at Ino, eyes still shadowed, a smile on his face. "Tell me Ino" He says in a voice that scared her. He continued. "How long have you known Chinatsu? Do you think she'll hurt anyone in here?" He questions before looking back at Chinatsu. 

"Natsu-chan! Wake up, Iruka-sensei will be here soon!" I shout in her ear making her jolt up. "Yes! What?" She shouts in surprise, looking around. She notices Naruto and smiles. "Natsu?" She questions, still sleepy. Naruto shakes his head. 

"No, It's me Naruto" He says with a grin. He was used to Chinatsu calling him her brothers name. It happens mostly when she's tired, but at times it would just be a slip up every now and then. Must've been because Naruto and Natsu are somewhat similar since their names began with 'Na'. 

"Oh, sorry Naru" She says, yawning. Naruto smiled and jumped over the desk and sat next to her. "Sorry about yesterday, I guess I really was just upset about not making it. But I made in anyways!"

"That reminds, how did you make it?" Chinatsu questions, slowly waking up. Before Naruto can answer Iruka came in to start. 

"Alright, everyone calm down now. Today will will be the last time you'll ever see me" Iruka says with a smile. "Though I know you want to know your teams so we'll get right onto it." He said pulling out a clipboard out of nowhere. Everyone cheered, on the edge of their seats. 

"Team 1" He announces and everyone waited silently for their name to be called. The three people cheered and smiled excitedly say something about being number one since they're Team 1, when their names were called. He continued and named the team numbers and their teammates. 

"Team 7" He called out, by now Chinatsu was slowly falling back to sleep. "Naruto Uzumaki" Naruto stood straight hearing his name being called. 

"Sakura Haruno" Sakura shouts a 'No!' faceplanting into the desk, depressed, while Naruto shout a 'Yes!, jumping up in excitement.

"Sasuke Uchiha" It's the opposite way around Naruto depressed and Sakura jumping in excitement. Sasuke himself didn't show any emotion. He only thought that he's screwed since he's with idiots.  

"And Chinatsu Dragneel" Everyone was surpised. Four people on a team? Five if you count the sensei!

"But Sensei! There should only be three people on the team. Why is Chinatsu added to our team?" Sakura say, slightly terrified. She wouldn't mind Chinatsu if only she weren't what she saw yesterday, she'd be fine. She didn't want Chinatsu in her team, she didn't want to die. Everyone glared at her. They didn't want Iruka to change his mind and put her on someone else team. 

"Hokage-sama decided that she had to be on the team because of the Sensei" He summarized to Sakura. Iruka was told that Asuma picked Kakashi to be her sensei and all. Sakura nodded and sat back down, depressed. "This is how I die.." Sakura whispers. Iruka continued the teams and let us out for lunch. 

"After lunch come back to the class, your sensei's will here." He explains. They all left, leaving to somewhere to eat or went outside or the roof to eat their lunch. Naruto asked Sakura if they could eat together. Chinatsu walked the opposite way from them and went to practice in the forest for a little while, not wanting to bother Naruto at the moment. 

Sakura denied Naruto and walked off, looking for Sasuke. Naruto looked down before turning to where he thought Chinatsu was. He did a full 360 to see if he could see her anywhere. He noticed familiar pink hair in the distance, going to the forest. He decided to get ramen to-go before meeting up with Chinatsu.
