Cassandra felt no tears come forth, but an immense guilt. No tears came as they found Cassandra laying slumped on the floor, no tears came when they dressed Frigga's cold body to put on the boat, and no tears came as they set fire to the boat that held the body of the Queen. Instead, a heaviness set in her heart. She wondered if she told Loki...but no.

Cassandra now sat numbly in her room. Loki had since been moved down to a cell. One of Thor's friends was supposed to tell Loki that his mother died, and Cassandra knew of the power surge he'd let off and the subsequent destruction of his cell.

She couldn't help but feel immensely guilty. She knew this was coming. She could have stopped it. She was so close to helping, if she could've just ran further or faster to get in there-

"Princess?"

Cassandra snapped out of her thoughts, seeing a maiden at the door.

"Yes?"

"Do you mind stepping out for a bit while I clean the room?" The maiden asked. Cassandra nodded.

"Yeah, let me get my cape..." Cassandra said, grabbing it and heading out of the room quickly. Once in the corridor, she had no idea of where to go. She thought for a moment, before heading down to Loki's cell. Before arriving, she once again overheard conversation.

"Did she suffer?" Loki asked. Cassandra stopped in her footsteps.

"I do not come here to share in our grief. Instead I offer you the chance of a far richer sacrament." Thor's recognizable voice was heard.

"Go on." Loki said.

"I know you seek vengeance as much as I do. You help me escape Asgard and I will grant it to you, vengeance. And afterwards, this cell." Thor explained. Cassandra's ears perked up. There were secret ways out of Asgard?

"You must be truly desperate to come to me for help. What makes you think you can trust me?" Loki taunted.

"I do not. Mother did. You should know that when we fought each other in the past, I did so with the glimmer of hope that my brother was still in there somewhere. That hope no longer exists to protect you. You betray me and I will kill you." Thor replied.

"When do we start?" Loki asked. Cassandra heard the sound of the cell being opened for him. "Cassandra, dearest, come here."

"What?" Thor said, confused.

"She is here. In the cell, I was unable to sense her. But now that I am out..." Loki trailed off, his voice getting distant. Cassandra peered around the corner, to find Loki gone. However, a sudden grab of her waist made her tense.

"Oh come now, Cassandra, did you not know that would happen?" Loki asked, his voice taunting.

"Why is he always this aggravating?" Cassandra asked Thor, who walked over and pushed the two forward.

"I have no idea."

"This is so unlike you, brother. So clandestine. Are you sure you wouldn't rather just punch your way out?" Loki asked.

"If you keep speaking I just might." Thor responded, not looking at the giddy Loki.

"Fine. As you wish. I'm not even here." Loki joked. Looking over, Cassandra noticed he had changed himself into a guard. "Is this better?"

Cassandra and Thor seemed to roll their eyes in unison.

"Knowing it's still you, no." Cassandra muttered.
