(A/N: I apologize for a mistake I’ve made. Sorry for not knowing that Louis and Harry don’t share a flat anymore. I’ll just pretend that they do, for the story’s sake. Sorry!)

Liam’s POV

Louis, fortunately, was already awake when we got home. He questioned my appearance as well as Zayn’s but we just shrugged him off. We sat far away from each other, which was really unusual. For the first time in 1D history, we had a misunderstanding and even hurt each other. The sound of my phone ringing broke the silence inside Harry and Louis’ flat. I was troubled by the sound and was tempted to turn my phone off, but luckily, before I could even press the off button, I saw Niall’s name on the screen.

I didn’t let a single second to pass. I immediately told Niall to come over to where we are.

I also told him to get himself and Louis cups of coffee to stay awake for a while. I couldn’t risk a chance. Even though Zayn and I are not in god terms, I still want the best for One Direction.

As soon as Niall took a step inside Harry and Louis’ flat, I asked him to sit. I just don’t want to waste so much time. One thing more, the ambience was getting too quiet.

“Did you two dream last night?” I asked Louis and Niall. They looked at each other, looking startled, which probably meant ‘yes’. I sighed. “We have a problem. Harry, Zayn and I had the same dream last night, only that we had different point of views. It was about the cruise we are to go to. We were wondering if you two…”

“Yes.” Niall cut me off. “My dream was something like that.”

“I think I had the same dream, too.” Louis said. “But I guess mine and Niall’s are different from yours.”

I nodded, and so did Harry and Zayn.

“So, what happened in yours?” Zayn asked both of them. “We were looking for you, you know?”

“We won’t tell unless you tell us what happened to you and Liam first.” Niall said. Zayn and I unintentionally looked at each other, awkwardly.

I waited for him to speak up, but I guess he was waiting for me to talk first. “Uh, Zayn and I had a fight.”

“I was so angry I couldn’t control myself. I’m so sorry, Liam, I know you were only concerned about me.” Zayn said, apologetically.

I looked at him. “I’m sorry, too. I really didn’t have to call you names. I should’ve understood you better.”

Louis, Niall and Harry chuckled at once. I do not know if what we did was too cheesy, but it was a good thing that our argument didn’t last for long.

Niall’s POV

Louis got to tell his story first. It was weird, to be honest, having the same dream at the same time. I tried to compose myself as I waited for my turn to tell my side of the story, or dream.

“So after we left the suite, Room 143, I mean, we went to the bar. I, um, was looking at girl and then I decided to talk to her. I left Niall all by himself.”

“Wait. What? You…?” Harry questioned him.Yes, Harry. Louis left me for a girl. I giggled at the thought of that. The boys glanced at me. They must’ve mistaken what I did and thought that I was laughing at Louis. I kept myself quiet and motioned Louis to resume talking.

“Shhh...” Louis said, trying to shrug Harry off. “We stayed on the deck for quiet sometime before the waves went wild.”

“So it wasn’t a storm?” Liam asked.

“No, it wasn’t.” Louis, then, continued talking. “We were the last people to ride a life boat— because the girl I was with was so kind she let the others go first. Luckily, there were a few more boats left and we actually had one for just the two of us.”

“Wow.” Harry teased me, nudging him at the ribs.

“Not ‘wow’, to be honest. The girl I was with was so selfish she wanted to get rid of me as soon as we reached the island. I wasn’t able to keep up with the other boats and we had an engine malfunction so we somewhat got lost.”

“Wait. You said the girl was so kind, and then you said she’s so selfish. How could that happen?” I asked Louis. He couldn’t seem to answer me.

“She’s like that. How could I know?” He said. “Now your turn.”

Louis’ POV

I couldn’t answer Niall’s question so I just told him to tell us about his dream. I really couldn’t explain my description of her to them. They won’t understand.I took a sip of my second cup of coffee as Niall exhaled noisily and told us his story.

“When Louis left me, I saw a girl…”

“A girl?Again?” How…?” Harry reacted like the way he did when I was the one talking.

“Keep quiet, will you?” I said, trying to have some peace of mind. I wanted to think of the possible causes of our problem and I cannot do that with what Harry is doing.

“I went to talk to her but she didn’t seem to be interested. I got hungry a short while later so I decided to sneak into the pantry.”

Wow. So Niall.

“Sadly, there were only drinks inside that pantry. A huge wave rocked the ship and then everything collapsed. I slipped into the liquid on the floor, which made me unconscious. The next thing I knew, the same girl I met poured cold water on my face to wake me up. We got out and saw a beautiful tropical island. That’s all.” Niall said. It was as if everything is normal to him. “What’s all the fuss about anyway?”

“Not much, really.” Zayn said, ironically. “It’s just that we might need a psychiatrist to sort things out if this goes on.”

“Which won’t happen.” Liam barged into the conversation. “Dreams don’t usually resume, right?”

“Yeah.” I agreed, eyeing at the empty cups of coffee scattered on the floor. “Especially with all these.”

Niall coughed. “Um, guys?”

“What?” We asked him all together.

“I don’t think we could stay up all night.” He said.

“Why?” I interrogated.

“Can’t you see? The coffee cups are marked DECAFFIENATED.” He said. We looked at each of the scattered cups and found out that what Niall said was true.
