"That one, look at her!" I squeal "Or that one!" 

My parents told me I could get a pet for my birthday and we were out at the aminal shelter looking for a puppy. 

I looked at a little female pup with a brown coat and innocent eyes "This one! Look at herrrr" I say as the puppy waddles over and licks my hand. 

My parents sort the paperwork and we head home with the new puppy on my lap, wagging her tail happily as I pat her. 

I text my boyfriend Sean on the way home.

"Hey" 

"Hey, how are you?"

"Awesome! you?"

"I'm good just finished dance"

"Can you come round? We've got the new puppy!"

"Sure, see you soon :*" 

"<3"

About half an hour later the doorbell rings and my mother leads Sean to the backyard where I'm playing with the puppy. 

"Hi" I smile 

"Hey" Sean replies kissing my cheek and leaning down to pat the dog, who was eagerly running around us.

"I let you two be, I have work to do" Mum smiles and heads inside.

"She is cute right!" I say picking the bundle of joy up. 

"She isn't the only one" Sean laughs taking a photo of the three of us "What is her name?" 

"Sasha"

"Nice, it suits her," Sean says taking Sasha from me and ruffling her floppy ears before putting her down.

I  sit down in the grass with Sean laying next to me, I flop across him, my face resting on his defined chest while Sasha woofs and licks his face.

We spend the rest of the afternoon playing with Sasha, taking photos with her and trying to teach her to sit and lay down.
