6. A Ride Back Home

Mina decided to help Yugyeom get Chaeyoung because she ships them so much.

After school, she went to Yugyeom-- who was following Chaeyoung-- and said directly, "You like Chaeyoungie right?"

"Yea... How do you know?" He looked over to check where Chaeyoung is going.

"I'm going to help you!" Mina said excitedly.

"How?" He asked, tilting his head.

"You'll see," She smiled. "Here's my phone number, call me when you need help."

"Thank you!" He said and rushed to Chaeyoung.

Chaeyoung sat alone in the library writing her essay, Yugyeom slid into the seat in front of her. She pretended to not notice and kept on writing.

A few minutes later she stood up to look for information. Apparently the file she needs is on the top shelf. She looked around for ladders, but it's nowhere to be seen or someone else is currently using it. She sighed and tried to grab the file by tiptoeing. Too short. She tried jumping but it still doesn't work. She looked at the file hopelessly when she heard Yugyeom behind her snickering.

Yugyeom looked at Chaeyoung trying her best to get the file for a long time. She finally gave up and turned to Yugyeom, "Help me get that." She pointed at the file.

"Say please," he laughed.

"Ugh. PUH-LEASE," Chaeyoung rolled her eyes a bit. Why is he so annoying?

"Fine..." He went over to the shelf and got it in no time.

"Thanks," She grabbed the file and followed Yugyeom back to their seats.

After they finally finished their essays, Chaeyoung lifted her head and asked, "Why didn't you just help me?" She pouted a bit.

"Because you're really cute when you're trying to get it with all your might... AND you didn't ask for help, so i just assumed that you don't need help," He shrugged like he really didn't know.

"Hmph! What's so good about being tall." She stuffed her essay into her backpack.

"Everything's good! Even the air is good up here." Yugyeom closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

"What the hell Yugyeom," she rolled her eyes, "if you tall people didn't smell so bad then it the air down here would be much nicer,"

He just looked at her defeated.

Chaeyoung: 1, Yugyeom: 0

"Let's go, or else Jihyo unnie will yell at me again," She swung her backpack over her shoulder and snickered at her sulking friend...?

"How are you gonna get back today?" Yugyeom asked once they're outside.

"I'll probably walk?" Chaeyoung shrugged.

"How about I give you a ride back to the dorm? It's faster," He offered.

"Sure! Walking is way too tiring," She agreed without hesitating.

After that, Yugyeom always give her a ride back to the dorm.
