As they approached the boothes again, they slowed their pace and walked around looking at the things and food. It was a hot day, so Chaeyoung suggested to get ice cream from Jihyo's class.
"Come on! Let's get ice cream~" Chaeyoung said pulling Yugyeom up from the bench they're sitting on.
"I don't want to move though..." Yugyeom said. "I'll wait for you here."
He looked pale, but Chaeyoung guessed that he's just tired, and went to get ice cream for both of them.
She came back and handed him his ice cream and said, "My treat today~" then she sat down eating hers.
She quickly finished it and was about to pull him up when she felt him on her shoulder. Chaeyoung turned around and saw his head resting on it. He was breathing heavily and looked even paler. His grip loosened and dropped his ice cream on the floor.
"YUGYEOM!" Chaeyoung screamed. "WHAT HAPPENED?!" She shook the boy several times but he only muttered something under his breath that she couldn't understand.
Chaeyoung quickly swallowed the last bite of her ice cream and let Yugyeom lean on her while she made her way to the nurse's office. His whole body was getting WAY too hot, and her whole mind freezed when she saw the sight in front of her. She doesn't know what to do.
The hallway to the office was packed with students, chatting, eating, having fun. Chaeyoung yelled "EXCUSE ME!" over and over again, trying to make her way to the end of the hall, where the office is. After a few minutes, she reached the door and went in. There was no one inside.
Chaeyoung sighed and gently put the boy down on the bed. She fetched him a bottle a water and got a wet towel to cool him down. She turned around to rinse the towel, but when she turned back, Yugyeom was sitting up, facing her closely. She stared into his eyes for a few seconds and turned away, but not fast enough before his lips touched hers.
