Chapter Eighteen
It burns

I ran to the guest bedroom, and locked the door. I can't believe I caught them kissing.

I trusted him, Aria was right, we just weren't good enough. Xander comes and knocks on the door. What now, hasn't he hurt me enough.

"Ari," he says. "Go away!" I yell threw the door. "No Ari, I didn't cheat let me explain!" He says sounding sad. Maybe he didn't cheat... Or maybe he's lying?

"No, just go away" I say sobbing. "Please, please just me in." He says, softly and hurt, maybe, just maybe he didn't cheat?

But what if he did? All of a sudden I started getting this burning pain. "AHHHHHHHH" I groan out in pain. "Whats wrong? Are you hurt?!?" Xander ask me. "I- I don't kno- ahhh!" I say threw the door.

It burns, it burns all over. It burns all over and I don't know why. I climb on to the bed, if this is how I die, I want it to be in a bed.

If I die for some unknown reason, then I want it to be here alone on this bed. Surrounded by no one...

"Because you locked Xander out!" Aria snaps at me. "Whatever!" I snap back at her. "Ari, stand back! If your not opening this door, then I will!" Xander says.

Seconds later the door busts down. And there stands Xander in its place.  He runs up to me, "What hurts?" He asks me while checking my pulse.

I pull my arm away from him. "No, don't touch m- aghhh" I say in pain. "Fuck!" Xander mutters, "Your in heat." Xander says to me.

Well fuck! This is what heat feels like? There's only two ways to get rid of your heat. One way is to wait two weeks for your heat to pass, the second way, is to finish the mating process.

I can't wait, it'll be to much pain, on the other hand I can't finish the mating bond. Why did Xander mark me? This is all his fault.

"Please, I can't handle seeing you in pain." He says, on the verge of tears. "I- I- I can't you cheated!" I say in pain. "I didn't, I can prove it." Xander says confidentiality.

"How?- arrghh" I say ending in a groan.  "My mind! I've already marked you, can go in my mind, and see for your self." He says. And so I do.

Xander is opening the door to the house, Suddenly he stopped frozen, and sniffs the air.

He bolts upstairs and downstairs the hall, he stops at our bedroom door, he slowly opens it. He walks in the bedroom, and causionly looks around.

Suddenly he turns around and pins a figure against the wall, once he realises who it was he lets go.

"What are you doing here shaynell?" Xander asks rudely, "And why do you smell weird?" Xander asks her, "I- um, was just looking for my sister." she says nervously.

"You didn't answer my question!" Xander growls out at her. "I- I found my mate!" She says, hopeful. "Oh, is he from a different pack, then?" Xander asks her.

"Yeah, he's from the shadow moon pack, that's why I'm here I wanted to say goodbye to my sister." She says. "Oh, I don't know when she'll be back" Xander says, sadly. 

"Oh, okay, I guess I'll just go then" she says, then you can hear another female. "Hello? Anyone here?" The voice says, it must have been me.

"She's back!" Xander says happily. They can hear me walking up the stairs. "Oh and before I go." Shaynell says and kisses him.

Xander puts his hands on her hips in an attempt to get her off. Then I walk, and pull shaynell off him.
